Another S2 observation is that the dumpings were a lot more brutal, these guys really wanted to stay, and they were genuinely struggling over the re-coupling decisions and seemed a lot more emotional and moral about it.

Brad lacks charisma and does not deserve everyone sucking his arse. I think everyone is charmed by his looks and gets dazed by his appearance as opposed to him actually being a decent person. Men like him always manage to get people to like them because people fall for the act they put on. I don't think he's any different to any other 'LAD' if I'm honest. I do think he has a slight look of Mike Thala. I'm not saying they're twins, but I think sometimes he definitely has a look of him - think it's the eyes and the tan, and the smile he does.

At first I thought Lucinda was fake and inauthentic - and to be fair I still do - I feel like her meaningless phrases and fillers are just there to cover up her true thoughts and feelings, because I never feel like she's being herself, and if she is, then God help her. I also watched her talking, and she will pause for ages... like she's really thinking... then say something vapid and pointless. Like is she thick and she just genuinely physically can't converse properly, or?

Sharon doesn't fancy Hugo, she just wants to stay and she needs to be in a proper couple. It was only a week ago that she made him cry. Out of curiosity does anyone remember how many followers Shannon had before love island? Just noticed she has 398k so she must have already had LOADS before it, she was only in 48h so wouldn’t have grown massively from it in that time surely!
The only ones I was aware of having a significant following before it was Kaz with 66k and Sharon with 30k (ish) if I remember correctly, but I probably just didn’t see Shannon’s insta! I know they tend to pick people with a certain amount of followers instead of the ordinary public but I totally wasn’t aware Shannon was that big on ig before LI

He openly said he’d been in an 8 year relationship since he was at school. Apart from her he’s not dated anyone else. Think it ended just before the pandemic hit so it’s likely that he probably hasn’t slept with anyone since.

Personally I think the twist on who chooses was great! I think it would be too predictable if the islanders had to choose because they’d all agree to keep Brad seeing as he’s an og, Millie would prob be the only one advocating for keeping Lucinda. It’s a little harder to tell what way it’ll go tonight with the couple themselves having to decide!

I would guess hardly any if even none. Most are early 20s who could only get their first vaccine last month so the chances of them having had both is slim

Yeah but a lot of young people don’t count dates during relationships as dates…Because in this sense the idea of a date is to go out with someone & establish a connection with them. i don’t think going for a dinner when already with the person is really the same thing. If I broke up with my long term boyfriend tomorrow, I’d be saying I’ve never gone on a date, because I technically haven’t! If you meet as a teenager or very young adult, chances are your method of getting to know the person was through friends or school, no “date” phase. Dates in the relationship are totally not going to prepare you for going on dates as a single person getting to know somebody

That's a fair point. He said in a way that he knew would sound good. I'm just surprised that I've seen so many people on social media swoon over it.

I'm in a long term relationship and still barely had sex during 2020 because the pandemic & how it affected our jobs kept us apart so much, so I'm probably extra bitter about people acting like a sex-free 2020 was so rare and impressive

Hi. Just popped over here - loving the LI goss. I think Brad will be determined to stay. There could be a row tonight between himself and Lucinda. He will absolutely not want her to stay in the villa and crack on with someone else especially with Casa Amor looming. He’s very possessive of her. He’ll want her back in the UK whereas she will - as another poster said - want to stay and secure her Boohoo contract.
