Less facetiously they can only work with what they’ve got and don’t think this particular cast bring anything to the table. But yes oh for a ‘Malin returns in secret’ moment to confront Terry .. Rachel returning to cancel Brad somehow doesn’t have the same ring.

I’m hoping for something like that too! Like getting sent to watch them in secret and then get put back in for some drama… but somehow I don’t think love island producers have the brains to do anything like BB 😭

Goes to show the public would rather see friendship couples than ones that are faked, talking Lucinda here who doesn’t give a rat’s about what it takes to get a little ‘fame’. I’d take a punt the producers knew who would be at the bottom, not saying fixed it but thought it a reasonable punt, the islanders need to know what the public is thinking and it’s too early for the tweet quiz.
 
There's no way Lucinda will offer to leave, Brad will offer to go because he's a nice guy. Lucinda is only on LI because she wants to be famous.

Sharon doesn't fancy Hugo, she just wants to stay and she needs to be in a proper couple. It was only a week ago that she made him cry. Oh and finally, Sharon love, your mouth isn't wide enough for those hideous implants and they've made you look plain weird. Whoever told you they look good lied to you.

The producers deffo had a good idea. Nobody this year really stands out to me as likeable or genuinely into each other they’re either doing tried and tested couplings or clearly just want fame!

That’s why everyone was shocked when Aaron and Kaz were safe I guess they now realise it’s a popularity contest. I wonder if this will start to change the couples already in there.

I think ITV would be in really big trouble if that wasn't the case. There was a huge issue for them over the ITV competitions and gameshows about 10-15 years ago - I think they got heavily fined because viewer money (phone texts) were involved.

True, and didn’t BBC get into a lot of trouble for it too? Even Blue Peter was tarnished!
Thing is this is all through the app, so I suspect they can pretty much get away with what they want

They’d be foolish to tamper with the votes cast, that could get the show shut down, There are other ways to get the result they want, they can certainly pick and choose good and bad moments of footage to help things along.
