They’ve said in the last seasons that they use it as a day to clean the villa, have a trip out etc so it doesn’t air. They aren’t allowed to talk about anything either to do with being couples etc.So since this is my first Love Island EVER I need to ask
Why no show on a Saturday? Is there like a behind the scenes or never before seen footage installment?

I find this kind of discussion really healthy. I'm a middle aged woman and I've grown up seeing shocking discrimination against disability, race, gender, sexuality etc. I've become disabled in later life. I'm a strong, successful woman, and yet suddenly I feel overlooked, people talk to my partner rather than me and regularly say things like 'oh bless' when I explain that I need ground floor access for example. It's like I've become less of a person , and it really hurts sometimes. Anyhoo, all we can do is never stop asking questions and never stop listening to the answers and therefore being educated. Who'd have thunk that a thread about the most gloriously trashy TV could be so educational. Love to us all xxOk then fair enough. I just find it quite dehumanising but maybe I'm just being overly sensitive on someone else's behalf lol. I feel like as a society we are intent on separating people into different categories instead of just seeing each other as slightly different variants of the same thing. To me "blacks" and "whites" is quite divisive and almost sounds like we see each other as separate species almost if that makes sense? No apology needed anyway, just my opinion you are entitled to say what you wish lol. Definitely poses a load of interesting questions for sure! Language is a tough one.
My favourite rumour was that he shat in the poolYeah that’s him!!! There were loads of rumours at the time he had been caught with coke!
The convo Bradand Kazwere having
My brain hurts
Aw that’s sad explains why he lives with his gran then.Just read that Brad has only met his dad once in his life and is not really close to his mum either.
I know we have moved on from this conversation so sorry to bring it up again haha but I just remembered in season 4 when Georgia refused to say Kaz’ name correctly, so you think this was a bit racist? Or was she just being petty because Kaz stole Josh? I remember it annoying me at the time because of how immature it wasI can totally understand forgetting people's names, for me anyway my point was more that when the black cast member is the only one who's name is forgotten, it is hard to believe that's just down to chance. I mean hopefully it is, but there is a history of this kind of thing. Plus it's not like her name is complex, it's not even more than one syllable and is a relatively common name in the UK. So I guess, it's situational but in this instance for me it did stand out a bit I guess.
