I do think love island has run its course sadly and was fun when it first came out. It’s time for a new show/concept to take over our lives now

The most memorable moments from love island have come from the islanders/couples that have genuine feelings, whether the relationship has worked out or not. Some examples are

Amy/Curtis
Cara/Nathan
Olivia/Chris
Amber/Michael
Josh/Georgia
Jamie/Camilla
Millie/Liam

If the producers want to make it back to what it was, they’d be better off instead of just picking “big character influencers” pick person x because you think they’ll fall for person y. If they tried match making and having an idea from day 1 which couples will genuinely like each other they’ll be much better off.

The last time I really think they got this right was season 5. Now, I don’t think any of the couples are in love (including Ciaran and Nicole, they love the idea and opportunity of their perfect story than they do each other)


This series isn’t memorable because it’s felt like everyone’s been keeping their options open for so long, waiting for someone better. If there were genuine feelings involved, that wouldn’t happen.
