More alcohol, no exes or z list celebs, no influencers or semi-pro footballers, like seasons 1-3 basically.

I want to see them put the prize money up. I'd actually like to see some randos competing for the money rather than to be influencers. £25k for 2 months work is actually fuck all really. I mean it's a lot more than I earn but once you've given up your permanent job for it. 😂
 
Love Island games had a brilliant format because it allowed people to be honest about the fact they wanted to win and openly discuss their strategies, islanders has less power over the dumpings because they were decided by challenges, it was filmed in advance which meant bombshells couldn’t tell people how they weren't coming across. I imagine they could all relax into it more knowing no one was watching yet. They either need to borrow some of that format for the UK one, return to basics, or ditch it completely, cause it's dying a death the way it's going currently.

I haven’t actually commented this but it is how I kinda feel. I feel like I invest weeks watching this and I want it to build momentum and the final week be really exciting and look forward to the final, but it’s the opposite. It’s like it start on a high with excitement and drama and then goes downhill. The final week is always meet the parents, talent show, baby challenge and final dates. All which I find deadly boring and like the show needs a real mix up. Because I find it boring, I tend to just trip off watching or catch up on bits and then tune in for the final.
 
After Casa this season just went downhill fast. We lost a lot of big characters, Uma, Ronnie and Harriet too early. I felt the season started well and had an older vibe but then it just morphed into past series repeat behaviour. I say bin Casa or make it completely different. Dumping singles after Casa should happen again it prevents the recoupling a la Liam, it’s never been the same since then.
 
I know a lot of people are mourning Grace but I never cared much for her idk. I think we were robbed with Harriet and Ronnie going early. I liked Uma but not sure how much she would’ve added in her lover girl era. I wish it was either Sean & Matilda or joey & Jessy going instead of Grace though.

The only couple with real feelings I think is Ayo and Jess. I hope they win, but I doubt it!

Not dumpling decent characters for shock value ie Harriett, Ronnie, Uma and keeping on quiet ones that aren’t adding any value for weeks on end ie konnor. Allowing certain islanders to pick on other islanders without any sort of satisfying comeuppance ie Jess who picked at Harriett and was then protected from going home, Sean/Joey in general. Placating to certain fanbases ie mimii in general and Ciaran/Nicole forever being pushed to the forefront despite being toxic AF and all around shit craic.

There’s always stuff that can be done to make it at least a more satisfying watch but this year in particular the producers made some ridiculous decisions.

I was hoping after the small grilling he got from Jessys mum, he might grow a set and apologise to her. She is really due one from him - he’s said some nasty stuff to her

And sorry but stop bringing boring islanders in last minute like Lolly, Lola and the guy who came in with Lola who’s name I can’t even remember. Nobody is gonna switch that last minute and they’re a waste of screen time

I’ve been saying for years casa amor is DONEEEE now, it was brilliant the first year with the shock value, and was okay up until Liam/Millie’s season, now I feel like all the couples don’t take it seriously until Casa because they know they’re gonna mess about
