I said if I was her I’d have been scared cause it’s an intimidating situation. A man shouting at you like that. The fact the boys held him to sit down showed they knew it could escalate and we’re trying to calm him.
i said he had potential to be violent didn’t say he was last night.
he’s shown himself up and gone waaaaaaay far down in estimations.

I think what was more telling was the reaction of every other islander. They all pretty much said she had lied, or rolled eyes at her, even Gemma said something along the lines of "you should have told him earlier". Instead she demanded food.

I think the boys were holding him down because they don't think she's worth it and were stopping him rising to her levels of drama. I don't think anyone likes ES.

Luca will be heartbroken if Danika takes him away from Gemma's Dad. There is stuff on twitter of Danika's tiktok and there are questions as to what part of her is Jamaican as she is very white on tiktok.

maybe I’m missing bits but people go on about gemma dying to talk about her dad.I’ve not seen anything like that it’s all public exaggeration. She’s certainly no marcel “I was in blazon squad”.

Why all the love for Luca again? He was ok last night but that doesn't change the bad he has done. Gemma is still just going through the motions with him, slowly. She has the ick, she's just trying to hide it.

I'm concerned Amber might jump ship from Dami. She has been threatening to for days. I think the BEST outcome for Danika here would be if she picked Jay. That would be hilarious. And she wasn't taking ES on at all when she tried to warn her off him.

Part of what annoys me in this show is the lack of honesty in that, yes some of them would like to fall in love, but their main priority is to stay in as long as possible. It's unrealistic to expect 12 people to be put together and automatically create 6 devoted, genuine couples. ES was with Davide because Luca picked Gemma before he could (and that was probably engineered by the producers to break up the age inappropriate couple).

Davide got the ick with ES as soon as he kissed her. And that's ok. It was obvious she'd be the type to rush to have sex on tv and he didn't want that with her. He might have neglected her after that, but to me that's a bit better than stringing her along. I don't have any great love for Davide but I really want him to stay because he's such good tv.

ES is acting like herself and Jay are loves youngish dream, but we all know he was gonna attach himself to any sign of fragility with the couples so he gets to stay. His eyes will wander soon (especially because of the ridiculous facade she has put on since getting caught).

Those old pics of ES... she was so pretty and didn't need any surgery. She looks great now (definitely has a great surgeon) but old. That look definitely ages people (cough cough kylie jenner). What I'm most confused about is the girl with the English accent and Turkish name wearing an Ireland sash?? Has she mentioned being Irish at all??

Great post, and yes the lack of honesty is shining through; it’s almost two weeks now, two weeks in the Villa equals many more weeks in the outside world. They’re stuck together in a comfortable bubble, in such conditions I would find it hard to be anything but honest .. any deviousness gets spotted real quick.

if I had been ekin I would’ve felt scared and bullied by Davide last night. He showed a really horrible side and remember that’s what he shows in public on tv.

You would have felt bullied but you also said you think it’s childish the person you called a bully decided not to engage in another conversation with ES? Wouldn’t you keep far from the bully

Not wanting to talk to someone after an argument like that isn’t childish. He did the right thing.
It would have lead to another argument and I think she wanted that to make him look even worse.

Totally agree. What would he or she even say at this point? It's over and her hanging around him asking for a conversation was childish. It would do nothing but escalate it further. They both acted tit and let's end it at that. That peck on the cheek from ES was also not necessary, done only to cause more drama however short-lasting. It was cheeky from her and I'm surprised he laughed after because I'd be cringing if roles were reversed.

He was shouting at her in an aggressive way and trying to prompt her to react. He was shouting about her slating her when she was with the girls. He knew she would defend herself and could only ignore him for so long.

yes she should’ve been honest but everyone thinks betterfrom the outside and in hindsight.

ES is a dick. She’s creating drama which I like, but she is an asshole. She spent the whole time trying to insist she hadn’t done anything wrong when she lied to him. I don’t think you can have the best of both worlds.

She’s not my kind of person, as I think you should just be honest and own it when you’ve been a dick And the way she was talking about the new girl… after the way she had acted in the previous 48 hours…

Davide was also a bit of an asshole but I found him quite funny. I think I’m more on his team then hers tbh.

Luca - I feel fury every time he comes on screen. I really HOPE the new girl picks him tbh because it would Gemma some breathing space.

Gemma - she has definitely grown on me. I think she’s actually pretty mature for her age. She could do a lot better than Luca and I don’t think she’s that into him really. I don’t think Gemma will pick Jaxxxxx tbh, because I don’t think she will want to be seen as “that girl” by splitting up Paige and him when they’re clearly getting on.

As an aside - shout out to Gemma to saying the word “vagina” rather than something cringy.

Indiyah - still my favourite girl. Was the most real about the ES situation. She’s got sass. I love her. I wish we saw her more on screen ❤❤

Ilike davide and I think his reaction was a mixture of being embarrassed and hurt and angry because she DID lie to him no matter if ur a fan of her or not, and I think his reasoning behind it (“what did you expect after four days”) was sound although not delivered brilliantly and I can see why people would have their back up about some of the language he used towards her.

I don’t mind Ekin although I feel she was in the wrong in that situation - she’s mentioned many times that she’s 27/28?? Can’t remember which, and that she wants to find the one and settle down, which is making her latch on to guys fairly quickly and she seems to be catching feelings very intensely very quickly, in the hopes that this guy might be “it” for her.

I don’t think she feels scared of or threatened by davide in any way given that she said she would sleep in the bed with him as per the rules if he chose to, and still kissed him on the cheek/laughed with him at the challenge.

Yes re gemma not choosing jacques. I think if she has her own way and can’t choose luca she should choose someone else. She’s technically taken luca off Paige already so would be cruel to take jacques too. He’s an ex for a reason.

i didn’t like ekin in the start she was too much for me. Butsince She got with jay I’ve liked her more.She’s extra but Davide was just the looks where as jay is looks and personality. I think with jay she will hopefully be happy and settled.

My view on the situation…

Davidé was hurt, embarrassed and angry with the lying. It is his right to feel that way as Ekin-Su did not lie just once. People saying that he is disrespectful. Respect goes both ways, Ekin-Su disrespected him by kissing someone behind his back and lying about it. Just because he’s a man doesn’t mean that he automatically has to respect her because she is a woman when she hasn’t shown him respect. Treat people how you want to be treated.

Ekin-Su could have diffused the situation and not escalated it, as she did when she stormed over, by walking over calmly, admitting that she was wrong and apologise. If Davidé then continued with the shouting then it would’ve been uncalled for.

Davidé was NOT going to hit Ekin. He was clearly going to shout at her and the boys were trying to diffuse the situation.

All of this, she’s a woman and would feel intimidated blah blah blah. You don’t storm over to someone guns blazing and expect them not to react. He was shouting from a distance.

I feel that Davidé genuinely wanted to get to know her because he said that he could’ve just slept with her on the first or third night but he didn’t want to do that. He wanted to see where it would go. He was wary because she’s an actress and that’s why he held back but he did actually want to try with her. This is why Ekin kissed him at the start of the challenge. She realised that he did actually like her and I think that she was trying to keep the door open for if Jay sacks her off and there’s nobody there for her. I wouldn’t kiss someone that I’m intimidated by or think that they have disrespected me.

All this being said, I like Ekin-Su but she should’ve just put her big girl panties on from the start and said to Davidé, “I like you but I feel that you’re holding back and I want to also get to know Jay for the time being.” Then if Davidé acted badly there could be no blame at her door.

The difference for me is that ES has clearly been told to go in and stir up trouble which is what she's done, she's acting. Same can't be said for Davide, he isn't trying to be the villain for entertainment and attention like ES - so those misogynistic comments/attitude is just who he is. I think he's vile. And every year people moan that the series is boring, then someone goes in and brings the entertainment and they get slated for it thank god for ES tbh, what else would the show have been so far - Amber rolling her eyes at everyone and everything and a 'bombshell' who thinks being short is a personality trait, no thanks

It's BUGGING me that they don't know the kiss on the terrace happened TWO NIGHTS!!! Acting like she done nothing wrong, hard to make that mistake twice....

In my opinion the 2nd night was the lie. Davide
Asked her where she was and she lied she was at the door. By that time luca and the others had figured it out and shouted to her.
jay kissed her she didn’t kiss him.
The next day she should’ve told Davide and if it’s that she wants to pusue things with only jay tell them both that.
When she was sitting with Gemma and Davide stormed over ekin had said she was going to tell him but he caught her off guard.

it’s love island and he’s given her nothing for 4 days. She’s right to move on he can’t be annoyed when someone better comes along. Ekin realised like the rest of us Davide is only good looking there’s no substance and personality to him. The way he spoke to ekin and kept shouting at her basically calling her a slut just made him totally vile. He made himself the villain and then tried to be the hard done by boyfriend sleeping in the other room. Fooling no one Davide.
