I think she will go for Luca and if she does the producers will have played a blinder, because it will probably then give us a chance to vote him off while leaving Gemma in getting the Michael Owen headlines.

They intentionally didn’t give her the chance to get to know any of the guys and have Luca say “don’t pick me please”, and Gemma’s reaction about Luca wasn’t like “oh yeah, we have amazing chemistry I’m so happy” it was essentially “I’m just seeing how it goes. He’s nice and gets on with everyone”.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if she picks Luca and then there is a public vote on Sunday.

What would surprise me is if Gemma picks Jacques. Not sure who she will pick though especially if she ends up going second.

He doesn’t even seem like he’s realised her dad is Michael Owen. Even if he has so what. He would still need to be in a relationship with Gemma. A fake relationship wouldn’t last

it’s love island and he’s given her nothing for 4 days. She’s right to move on he can’t be annoyed when someone better comes along. Ekin realised like the rest of us Davide is only good looking there’s no substance and personality to him. The way he spoke to ekin and kept shouting at her basically calling her a slut just made him totally vile. He made himself the villain and then tried to be the hard done by boyfriend sleeping in the other room. Fooling no one Davide.

I disagree, the fact that she had to sneak around and talk to him in "secret" suggested that she knew she was in the wrong. Of course she's entitled to get to know who she wants, but the way she went about it was 100% muggy, and would have been completely different if the shoe was on the other foot and he done that to her. Yes, he's not the most exciting person, but she made a fool out of him. Bottom line is, she should have just pulled him aside and said that she wasn't feeling it anymore, and suggested they parted ways. Instead, she thrived on the drama. She's a fake and a liar, and her head will turn again, I find it hard to believe that anything will keep her happy in that villa. She claims she's looking for something and Davide hasn't been giving it to her..as Andrew pointed out, it's only been there a week and a half!! Love Island or not, some are going to be more reserved than others, and not every man likes it when women lay it on thick like she does. She'd have something to complain about if she was coupled up with Ikenna, now Indiyah has the patience of a Saint!!!

I forget ikenna is there cause he’s so boring.

ekin had it right the other day,davide wanted to win ekin and was threatened by jacques so he was making effort. Soon as he got her he stopped bothering. He made no effort with Gemma either so not like it’s just ekin su’s fault.
 
Not thinking much of the new bombshell, do they coach them to be as unlikable as possible when they first arrive ? or do you need a built in ego the size of mars to qualify in the first place?

Luca isn’t giving up the Owens’ level of wealth and exposure to hook up with insta girls and their fast fashion collabs and discount codes. He knows who Gemma is and what she can do for him.

Only reason Gemma is coming across likeable now is because she is getting less airtime (on purpose - we know the producers monitor social media and Twitter). She is still far too immature, spoilt and far too aware of herself and her family name. The producers are just making sure they keep her in as long as possible.
 
Loving the drama from ekin su and davide! Both are as bad as each other to be fair, neither of them are mature and love themselves more than anyone else.
I don't get all the love for paige and hate for Gemma
But this year, so far, is topping the few previous years. Really good fun already.

Also, the producer of Love Island is ACTIVE on Reddit now. He monitors EVERYTHING that’s getting said there and the anti-Gemma cult was massive. He listens lol
 
I get it’s only a 45min episode 6 days a week so it’s hard to show everything. But as with every year there’s people we see a lot of,none of and those in the middle. It would be good if everyone got equal time but realistically it won’t happen.

always wondered at recoupling seeing as they haave To tell the producers who they’re picking in advance do they then know who’s been chosen already?
E.g last recoupling Luca chose gemma so she wasn’t an option for Davide. Or do they tell producers their 1st and 2nd choices 🧐

I’ll never forget when the girls had the challenge to get the boys to do things and camilla had to get marcel to say blazin squad and she said about him being in So solid crew 😂😂😂 his face was priceless
 
Here’s what I would like: the public to choose a recoupling and everyone has to give it a chance with bonding activities (‘tasks’) thrown in for a couple of days. Then they can choose to go back to their previous couples or stay in their new couples for another week. The least favourite couple= dumped. So what I want is: Amber and Ikenna paired up and dumped. Actually I don’t care how it happens. Can they just move along please.
