I’m confused though, if nothing happened at all with Ekin and George why did she have that conversation with him the next day? Pretty sure that’s what people are going off.
All she said was she hoped he hadn’t told anyone.(that they’d hugged? That she’d accidentally touched his boner? That he tried to instigate something and she turned him down? That she told him something in confidence… what? She wasn’t explicit)
she then rambled a bit about how they were both attractive people, they were friends etc. She never referenced if anything happened or what had happened.
George has changed his story around a bit. He got the first word in with the boys in the morning, “Something pretty mad happened last night," "There was some touching going on," "little play around". Pretty vague IMO. Did he graze a boob? Kiss? Did she have a fondle? Is it all male bravado here? Doesn’t matter though. George is a man and gets believed as the default.

it doesn’t help that Shitemore is wading in on it. She said on after sun that she saw Ekin Su have a “fiddle” except you didn’t Laura, you saw what the rest of us did? And since they were under a duvet we didn’t see much.

so we have a situation where Ekin su never actually acknowledged anything happening, last night she outright denied something happened, (she jumped out of bed and was clothed in PJs as well).
Not only that but George himself hasn’t been explicit about what happened, he’s been vague and has changed his mind a couple of times, plus he has ulterior motives to want to keep talking about this, as a failed casa boy. Ultimately, it looks as though this is being exaggerated by Laura Whitmore and production to create drama at Ekin Su and, to a lesser extent, Davide’s expense.
Everyone is assuming something *must* have happened, because George alluded to it and because of how production are handling it. And since society is ready to judge women at the slightest provocatIon, we assume something has happened despite Ekin explicitly saying otherwise.
And while all this speculation is going on - no one is taking notice of the fact that
Davide kissed two girls, and only told Ekin about one. Plus,
Ekin and Davide are essentially single anyway. She is allowed to be finger banged or touched up when she wants.
Havent we all suffered a backlash from a guy we friend zoned? A man who couldn’t handle rejection so slut shamed you? Called you a “prick tease” or in George’s case, a “nightmare” for not going along with it? For daring to make him desire you sexually but not allowing it to go further? This whole episode is just another reminder for me of how backward Love Island is becoming. I don’t remember it being this misogynistic before, maybe I’m just older and wiser.
