Luca you gaslighting narcissist. After seeing his behaviour surely he should reflect on his unreasonable attitude. But no. He projects the wrongdoing even more onto Gemma- how anyone could look at themselves behaving like that and still think that they are now even more in the right. Ranting that Billy was "trying to graft her" ..."If you want to flirt I'll flirt" when she literally shot down Billy and after seeing how he reacted to her simply talking to another guy - he gets all defensive and angry. The jaw and fist clenching. Gemma looked nervous and scared - I hope she puts him in his place.

The whole George /Ekin thing might be blown out of proportion but that is not why Davide is upset. It’s because she is a LIAR - read that in his accent 😂
He is pretty open minded about sex etc, it’s because he asked if anything happened and she said no.

Am I the only person who likes Dami? I know he’s a little tit but he’s so cheeky. I wouldn’t want to date him but I bet he’s a great mate. And so far he’s also been the only one to point out that Luca is a snake 🐍🐍🐍

Ha, I like Dami too. He’s the only one who’s chat I find entertaining. Been watching LI Australia and the boys actually have fun, don’t just mope in beanbags all day.
Indiyah should give him hell, obviously, but if they want to give it a go after, why the hell not? She can hold her own. She’s sound and doesn’t mind dating multiple people at the same time. They’re on a similar wavelength- they’re not here to get married. Just don’t be a dick about it - which he was, and admits.

Just please please please show Dami and Luca’s hostage argument. Can’t stand Luca, he’s the worst in there now for me.

I’m fuming at Jacques tbh because he ruined so many things with his whiny departure (which I don’t believe for a second was about his mental health, something else happened and he basically had no choice but to leave - OR chose to leave before Paige could leave him because his ego really is that fragile).

Anyway, now he’s left Adam has flopped as a bombshell because there’s no competition. Also I feel like he would’ve had a great movie because he was really doing the most in Casa and I don’t think he’ll be shown at all because he’s not there to defend himself, as it were. So yeah, you suck Jacques.

I do feel for tasha as she is so unsuited to love island, she seeks validation and self worth from others- we see it when new boys enter the villa mostly. To keep being in the bottom of public votes is the worst thing for someone like that, really if producers cared about contestants I think they'd get her out of there, but they won't because they want to still feast on the coco storyline.

I hope this makes Gemma realise what Luca is actually like- spoilt rich guy who feels like he 'deserves' her (let's be real she's objectively the biggest catch, his money can't buy the clout of dating a famous footballers daughter and the social doors that might open for him).

I read elsewhere a theory that Davide was in a relationship and that's why he holds back, I dunno I feel that would make sense. The will they/won't they storyline, taking it slow and making her feel she needs to redeem herself fits into this imo as it buys him time where he can keep her at arms length but keep up the facade without raising eyebrows. They both must realise from the public voting that they're popular on the outside.

Adam and Paige is funny to me as she reminds me of Rosie a bit looks wise and wasn't she Welsh as well? Feels like a weird time warp but I'm glad she didn't buy jacques emotional manipulation about waiting for her outside etc.

This series started off with so much promise but the lack of them showing funny moments and challenges I think has led to there not being any couples I'm rooting for and has taken some of the fun away.

Re: Luca from the first part of the episode- on the one hand I was very on his side about his words to Tasha, and he's right they were all thinking it especially about her not even crying when Andrew came with Coco but wailing tonight. But then I got more uncomfortable when others along with Gemma were just trying to tell him that they even agree but it wasn't the time. And Gemma KEPT having to repeat that when someone is emotionally more sensitive you need to be a little more sympathetic with it and he got that same snark on his face, doing the slight eye roll going " yeah but I'm not gonna apologize for that like really". And I swear it reminds me of a person in my past and how they would continue to insist they they didn't care who it hurt because they were so justified that they were right. It's a moral superiority too almost. Then when he said he wouldn't apologize and even when they had a talk, it's like he still couldn't "lower" himself to even just act sympathetic even if he thinks it's bullshit.

So While I agreed with his sentiment, it's the not backing down and the willingness to die on these little tiny hills all the time and getting pissy and wound so tight over things that he should be able to handle, and explanations he should be able to empathize with.

I’ve just been thinking about the gemma movie we saw. Now I’m not Lucas #1 fan AT ALL (I’ll leave that to @Laika1234 😋) BUT I will accept he’s seeing someone he “loves” 🙄 flirting with someone else and making fun of him and I can accept he’s hurt by it. From how we have seen gemma react to his carry on before I think she will handle it in much the same way, but I think in this case, to be 100% fair to Luca, he does deserve more than her usual robotic shut down. I don’t think she did anything wrong flirting with billy but the mocking way she spoke about him, someone she supposedly loves, wasn’t really fair, even if the beanbag positioning was extremely weird 😂

ok normal service resumes from now no more Luca sympathy from me 😂😂😂
