I agree with this and Jacques had to go but at the same time Dami was smoother about the situation and basically owned his choice but he wasn’t that sorry. His excuse was basically a hat he’s a guy. Any conversation he’s had about it he kind of plays it off as girls being confusing and/or their reaction is the issue and not what he did. Since being in the bottom two he’s ramped it up a bit but overall I don’t think he behaved great. Not to mention what a dog he was when they were in casa.

there’s a lot of focus on how awful Luca and Jacques are, and that’s fine but I do also want dami to get called out for his actions.
Ya I get ya, I do!!
I guess Dami did actually apologise (even though the man thing made me 🙄🙄🙄🙄), didn't blame Indiyah (very important to note compaired to the other boys) and then actually apologised to Summer too and (shock horror) actually treated her like a human being and looked to be genuinely remorseful for how he treated her. The other guys seems to be legitimately surprised that the Casa girls turned out to be human beings and not just play things!! 🙄
Dami isn't great, he is not innocent but he seems to have a bit of emotional intelligence and cop on to know he was in the wrong.
The bar is low!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Why are they editing out all the drama 🫤

it doesn’t surprise me that this happened with Jasmine. Another former casa amor girl (Savanna) spoke about how she had a connection and really good chats with Wes that weren’t featured. I think producers know who and what is going to create the most drama and run with it.

coco is clearly a crappy awful person, but she drives a lot of drama forward and makes good TV. Jasmine seems Like a decent person. She wouldn’t have manipulated Andrew or Tasha. She probably wouldn’t have brought up the boob sucking out of spite if Andrew had ditched her. She probably would have been understanding and let him and Tasha crack on. My guess is that’s why production didn’t follow her romance with Andrew as much… they knew coco would do whatever it took so focused on that instead.

it wouldn’t surprise me if coco had told production in advance she had designs on Andrew either, she’s that Machiavellian.

Yeah good point i think dami is more confident in his actions and was saved a bit by the fact that he brought someone back as did Indiyah. I just felt he was such a dog that I’d love to see it called out, mainly because he’s the first to call any other islander out when they do something wrong.

Just a reminder that this whole thing has kicked off, Jacques getting angry and aggressive…

because Gemma relayed something Page told her in confidence, straight to Jacques and the others.

not sure if it’s just her immaturity showing but… that wasn’t well done, Gemma. Starting to think she might be another head in what is turning out to be Love Island’s most upleasant set of islanders.

So I see their relationship contract is over.
One whole year.
I wonder what Gemma and Lucas length will be ?

Be Kind is just a threat. It just means ‘let me get away with this or I’ll hurt myself or someone else’.

duck that noise. I’ll be kind when you stop acting like a bleep.

This is gonna be an unpopular hot take but I feel like Tasha is young, beautiful, single and just wants to sample all the goods on the buffet table. But she’s having to hold back because she knows she have to deal with a ton of misogynistic slut-shaming.

I remember when I was her age (almost 20 years ago!) I definitely sowed my oats with whoever took my fancy at the time and gave precisely zero shits. Those memories keep me going now that I’m a married mum of three…!

Anyway, she’s horny and just wants to duck all the boys, bless her. I think she should let her inner Samantha Jones take the reins.

Saw someone mention this on Reddit and I do think it could be plausible that Jacques wasn’t vetted the same way the other islanders were as the main reason he was in the villa to begin with was to play the role of Gemma’s ex. Sherif mentioned in his interview with Murad that he was casted only a few weeks before filming started after someone else dropped out and that he didn’t have to go through a lot of vetting/interviewing, so is it possible that Jacques went through something similar where he wasn’t casted until later and they didn’t have time?

Jacques is in charge of how he reacts to any situation.

but I do agree with you re her being a bit of a knob. I think she likes drama and does sly things to kick it off.
