Was she though? I'm not seeing that (Yet), I think she's misunderstood and watching her reminds me of how they ganged up on Sophie from series 2. Amy has a weird thing against her, she loves playing the victim and having a witch. I've noticed how everyone goes to Amber when they want to slag someone off, Amy with Lucie, Molly with Maura. Joe also gives me Tom (series 2) vibes.
 
I think Lucie in the beginning was ok but her behaviour as the show went on was bitchier. Amber was a bitchy queen b and created a very hostile atmosphere which Anna and Yewande and Amy to an extent followed BUT I still think Lucie was just as snaky by the end as evidenced by her suddenly realising she liked Tommy and trying to get with him when Molly had been friendly enough with her. Had Tommy been up for it she’d have happily screwed Molly over so while she kept proclaiming how she didn’t like girls and all the drama etc I don’t think it was the fault of the female species that she might not have gotten on with them.

also as a girl I hate those types of girls who claim they are lads girls and hate the drama that girls cause etc. That kind of generalisation just really rubs me up the wrong way.

I know some girls are rubbed the wrong way when girls say that they’re not girls girls. But in fairness to Lucie, she didn't really have anything in common with them, you can see they didn't connect like some of the others did. All the girls gave her was grief instead of lettinn the girl live. Lucie said the girls were all about bitching and drama, and those girls in there absolutely were all about that.

I’m on my second watch and you could sense the bad vibes from Amber towards Lucie straight away. Amber liked Joe and was jealous that he was all about Lucie. Amy got jealous that her and Curtis weren't the only “official couple” and took her own insecurity out on Lucie. She vented this to Curtis who told her to grow up effectively. Amy then created a drama about that and manipulated the situation by not telling the girls the whole reason she was upset (she didn't tell them it was because she was upset about Lucie & Joe). Regarding her friendship with Tommy, no one gave Tommy any tit about it, just Lucie. These are just a couple of examples of where I felt Lucie was hard done by. I get the feeling that she's a people pleaser, and tried to change herself to fit in with others and please Joe whilst everone was telling her to “be true to herself”. You can sense the pressure she's feeling, I do think she should have walked before getting to the point where she goes for Tommy again, but she was in the position of having to get with someone to be in the game. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I just don't enjoy seeing someone get ganged up on.

From that series a lot of them don't seem to talk anymore .the guys all seem a lot closer for example I know Michael and Jordan and Danny and Chris all live together but the girls don't seem to be friends .Curtis and Tommy was really close as well and then obviously maura splits herself between Lucy and molly and does stuff separately with then
 
I always remember amber Gill in the first few episodes being stuck up and she made a comment to one of the lads about sunglasses or something , can't remember the full thing but she obviously thought she was better than him, everyone didn't like her at first but then warmed to her when she got with Michael and became the fav after casa amor

I don’t like Amber she is so bitchy, but I can’t help warm to her at times. I actually think Amy is worse, she’s bitchy whilst pretending she’s not and she’s obsessed with being the centre of attention as well as a victim. At this point in the show, If she’s so happy with Curtis why is she focusing on other people so much. At least with Amber admits her faults, still can’t rate her though, she does think she’s better than everyone in there.

I know I’m way overthinking love island today lol! But I’m just wondering why some people can get away with so much…looking at you Maura. And some people like Sophie & Lucie who got so much tit for stuff that’s mostly not their fault. Is it because they gave off emotional, door mat vibes? Where as others are more confident in themselves and back their decisions…maybe? Also notice how Tom (S2), Joe and Tommy didn’t get any shot in the villa for the roles they played in the drama/way they treated the girls?

Amber was paired with a Welsh guy he was out after week 1 but I will never get over her rudeness to him. She didn't like him okaaaaay. Buuuuuuut it's week 1 everyone is just trying to figure out whose who in the villa. Like her attitude was horrific and I never warmed to even after casa amor I was still on Michael's side 🤣🤣 I loved Greg he was a great guy and she pretends she was the first and only solo winner sorry hun Greg saved ur arse. Lucie seemed under such pressure she was isolated/ not fitting in with the girls and I felt for her at times I got camilla series 3 vibes off her when she would be upset cos camilla did get upset at some point about not fitting in. Amber, Anna and yewanda and amy all had serious issues with men if u ask me and made them quite bitchy. Tom series 2 massive gas lighting roid rage pyscho he would never get on the show in the 2021. Ahhh simpler times smoking areas and drinks all night long.
 
To be clear my issue with Lucie isn’t so much her saying she’s not a girls girl, each to their own and all that but moreso her making out the reason she’s not a girls girl is because every other girl is the issue. I just think she’s the type that would screw over any girl to keep in with the lads but then say it was because the girl was being a drama queen. Now the season five girls were a load of witches but I just don’t like that generalisation as it’s so immature.

also I don’t think Tommy got flack for the Lucie situation because he handled it well. He told her there wasn’t a chance as he was committed to Molly and then also told Molly who in fairness to her didn’t make a big deal of it.

I agree to an extent though that she got called out on stuff while Maura on the other hand got away with murder. I know Amy was a wagon but I thought she was quite cruel and smug while getting with Curtis. Maura was funny but everything about her was for the cameras. By all accounts she was only friendly with who she thought might get to the final ie Amber, Molly etc.
