Sharon was acting rude, Faye pulling a face at Laura (bitchy), Toby giving Iain a dirty look at one point. Aaron 2 also kinda rude during that bit with Mary.

I thought they all came across SO RUDE !!!
It’s like they came out and were told ‘right so Molly Mae the most famous islander has said she doesn’t want to be associated with the show anymore so go with that narrative’.

I don’t like Laura at all, but I genuinely think she was fighting a losing battle with the ‘cast’ from the get-go x

Well, the reunion was dire.

Laura’s presenting style needs a lot of work and there was such a weird vibe when her and Iain were ‘bantering’ for the camera. V weird energy from a fairly recently married couple. It’s very strange how she landed a permanent role when she was only originally caretaking until Caroline was ready to return. She was OK as a temporary host and I think people cut her a lot of slack because it was temporary in nature.

I have hope that if they bought in another presenter, Iain will improve just by virtue of dropping the ‘my wife’ gags.

The whole cast had a weird vibe too and I’m annoyed at myself for watching it
 
I would love if Rylan presented it, he's warm and funny but I think he'd pull people up on tit too. ❤❤
He's a proper presenter. I never thought Laura was that bad until the final show, she just shouted a lot and didn't come across relaxed at all. How can these young people feel at ease if the interviewer is radiating manic energy!?
I don't rate Shannon at all, so bitter.

they really do think they’re doing something by shitting on the show because it hasn’t been a good season. that hardly makes things any better. 🥴 they all seemed to enjoy their time in there for the most part, so it seems weird to just change up and go on about the show being a waste of time etc just because the public didn’t exactly love the 1hr episodes that aired and they’d rather agree with the public on that. They just don’t seem to get that the public not enjoying the very edited and cut-down episodes, doesn’t diminish the enjoyment the cast themselves had.
Islanders clearly care a lot more about image and how things are perceived, than how they genuinely feel to them in their experience if that makes sense.

All of this. Saying "I'm not bitter" over and over again just highlights how bitter she actually is. It's like when Faye used to bang on about how "not bothered" she was about everything, or how Hugo used to keep saying he was "moving mad" all the time when he was doing nothing of the sort. If you are genuinely happy/calm/excited/whatever then you don't have to keep saying it because your actions will make it clear. People who are genuinely not bitter about something do not have to keep saying they're not bitter, they'll show it instead 😂

Totally agree about the cast talking tit about the reunion as well. They all blatantly went on the show because they wanted exposure, and now they've got it they're going to act like ungrateful little brats about the show? It's so immature and classless. When I left my last job I didn't immediately start talking tit about it and acting as though it wasn't my choice to work there ffs. This whole cast was immature tbh and one of the things that I like about Toby & Chloe is that at least they own that and don't try to hide it like the others do.

Also, I bet they wouldn't be bitching about the reunion if it had been well received. They've all checked the reviews & social media comments, seen that we all thought it was shite, and joined in with that. Everything they do is so contrived.

Honestly £240 is very cheap. It’s on par with what you’d pay for bridal makeup. The mua also explained it would be 7 hours out of her day (accounting for travel time and 3 hours with Priya), so when we think of her travel costs to central London, kit, taxes and other overhead etc, she really isn’t making that much for a full day of work.

We need to remember that the person saying £240 is too much is the same person who made a big show of not needing her LI pay and donating it.

That’s such a good point! She has really been pushing the fact that she donated her LI salary and also mentioned that she didn’t even realise she would be paid by them (which feels like a fib on her part)

Laura really doesn’t get it does she 🙄 I don’t blame Kaz for not wanting to be reduced to an ex segment when she literally made the final and has a relationship of her own. Wouldn’t be surprised if Kaz and Tyler distance themselves from the show, I would too with the way they’ve been treated.

Not to mention the other story about calling out people who are giving the Islanders tit when she was silent about Kyler being erased by multiple magazines. Do us all a favour and piss off Laura.

Sorry but it's down to the host to set the tone, no matter the cast. Laura made it weird and seemed more uncomfortable than they were. It didn't make it a nice atmosphere. Plus she could have asked better questions to get better responses. Although I do get that some being rude can effect things
