If anything, it proves that the cogs were turning in Liberty's head just as much as Jake. She was happy to coast along with him until she realised they weren't so popular with the public. Jake knew it wasn't going to work between them, he was bored towards the end, but thought You're My Girlfriend would at least get them to the final. Liberty saw the other couples were strong and knew she'd have a better chance breaking away as a single person in creating a brand, taking the Strong Woman trope with her.

Now the buzzwords are: journey, putting myself first, focusing on myself. Lather, rinse, repeat

‘I may not have found love but I found self love’ INFURIATES me. It’s such a shite quote a stupid person would have tattooed on their foot thinking it’s inspirational lol

That sums up Liberty. She has zero personality. She’s a nice girl but she’s gonna lose all the followers quickly enough. There’s zero fun or substance on her Instagram - it’s just heavily filtered pictures and boomerangs of her pouting.

Chloe’s dress she wore last night was just short of 6k! And the other girls were wearing crappy I saw it first 🤣 she a queen

You forgot “being true to myself”

I didn't watch the last half hour of the reunion, had to switch off as it was making my toes curl.

I said earlier on but having the reunion after two weeks is daft. The bits with them meeting the parents/the Liberty and Jake chat felt forced because it...was. Laura was absolutely awful, no doubt about it, but she didn't have much material to work with and she doesn't have the natural charisma or banter to carry the interviews. Bringing up the Lillie situation and Hugo's harem of "exes" feels SO long ago now, no wonder they all looked uncomfortable.

I thought so too. And Aaron came across very bitter saying "well it wasn't my choice" - to be fair, their relationship had hardly got off the ground in the villa and Mary's granny died so it's understandable that she didn't prioritise him after the show. His reaction was a bit chaaldish
I thought that was a disgusting response for someone's who's family member just died. He had no sympathy for her.

You forgot self love ….. she’s so fake and BORING

Jesus Liberty looks NOTHING like what she posts on Instagram . I genuinely wondered had she lost about 2 stone since she left the villa only to see her normal big moon head on screen here in the Reunion.

also, I have no idea why she’s trying to make herself a role model and imply what she ‘went through’ something that inspires young girls ?
she LITERALLY begged a fella into being with her/sticking with her on a reality TV show, and he did because no one better came along that was interested in him. One day she realised he wasn’t as into her as she was with him. Questioned him over it and he said ‘yeah shall we just call it a day then?’ That was it, it ain’t that deep.
This 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Liberty was playing a role in the villa long before she dumped Jake and became this self-love woman. She was trying to be the OG couple that makes the final, she kept going on about being a “girls girl” and talking about “my girls”, she was giving them all advice as the girl in the strongest relationship. Even when they made their weird sex pact and all graduated on the same night, she made a comment that she’d already graduated, once again making sure everybody knew that she’s the one that did everything first - first boyfriend, first shag etc. But I think she had doubts about Jake long before she voiced them, she was just ignoring them because it would ruin this whole “strongest couple, queen of the villa” vibe she was going for. And like others have said, I think it was only when she realised how unpopular Jake was and that she didn’t have a chance of winning and making a name for herself outside the villa in a duo with Jake that she dumped him and went for this whole strong independent woman angle instead. She wasn’t gameplaying as blatantly as Jake was but I don’t think her time in the villa was any less calculated.
