I do get Shannon's point that it was a bit tit of her to be present at the reunion just so people could joke about her being fastest to be dumped but I think it's a bit much for her to call it "bullying". That word gets thrown around far too easily sometimes.

I’m sorry but does anyone think the islanders attitudes about the reunion are really unnecessary - they’re pretty much looking down on the show that “made them”? Like yes, the reunion was tit for us as viewers, but for the people who actually had to be there, surely you’d just pretend you enjoyed the 3-4 hours out because you had to be there? It’s as if they think of it as a massive chore and would rather be doing ANYTHING than have been there, as if they’re too good for it now that they’re suddenly “famous” (I use that term loosely). Surely you can sacrifice a few hours of your life and try to enjoy it or pretend you did for the sake of it lol.

Like, as an average person, if you go to a work party or generally any event you HAVE to go to, and don’t enjoy it, do you bother voicing how bad and uneventful it was etc? and PUBLICLY??

It’s a bit tone deaf IMO.

The gag is 90% of these islanders are forgettable. I even forgot about majority of them until the reunion. So they can go around thinking that they are hot tit but most people wouldn’t even recognise nor care if they saw them walking by in the street.
