Whilst seeing that clip of Teddy wouldn't necessarily have made me lose my rag as much as Faye did, I would still have been bloody annoyed with him, not so much for being attracted to someone else but for the fact he'd not said a single thing about it. The whole debacle with Jake would have quite possibly tipped me over the edge. I don't get why none of the other girls were annoyed by the gnome, are they all just such simps that they can't see how bad it was? Why was no one else calling Jake out?!

Jake's reaction to Faye was really unpleasant. Take it from someone who's been there, he's the sort of bloke who would react with his hands if a woman puts him down or calls him out on his behaviour. It's written all over his thick face.

I know that loads of you think Matt is great, but I found the bit with him and that utter bellend Liam sitting there and commenting (about how awful Faye's shouting and arguing was) so bloody misogynistic. Real overtones of how women should behave in a certain way etc. Can't bear either of them now.

But back to Faye.. thing is, she did say she didn't want to speak to Teddy. Shouldn't he have left it at that? Spoke to her tomorrow when she was sober and a calmer discussion could have ensued?

I'm no massive fan of Faye's at all and haven't ever wanted her to win (other than as a way to stop Jiberty) but from some posts on here tonight the level of horror at her behaviour is such that you'd think she'd killed someone. She got annoyed, at least part of which was justified, she lost her temper, shouted and swore. She said her bit. In some ways I think good for her. I'd rather do that than be totally passive like Millie who is allowing Liam to walk all over her and will do exactly the same the next time he cheats and the one after that.

I think the whole “chat” thing is staged by the show runners is it not? It always seems so unnatural to me, so how are we to know Teddy isn’t being told to approach Faye for a chat?

I didn’t interpret Matt or Liam’s reactions as being misogynistic at all actually. Faye was bang out of order, they are allowed to recognise that and express it. She spent most of the episode ranting at everybody and anybody. I don’t care how annoyed she was, she says she’s an adult but if she was then she would have removed herself from the situation to cool down. Not had a barney on national television, acting like Billy Big Balls. I like a drama, but this went beyond it. Her swearing and shouting was disgusting, she only had to look at the other islanders’ faces to see how bad it was.

Exactly and why shouldn’t teddy try and calm her down and talk 1 on 1 with her, like he said it’s between them, she just wanted to shout and mouth off about him to everyone without hearing him actually talk and hear his side which was horrible. She’s such a potty mouth too, wash that gals mouth out
 
Late to the party on this forum but I can’t stand Jake. He’s one of those lads who just fucks you about but will still try and worm his way in when you meet someone better.

I did feel sorry for Liberty for being naive but looked at her Instagram before and I’m sorry to be mean but it’s like she’s posted photos of her skinny twin. She looks nothing like her insta photos at all. So she’s just as fake as him in my eyes.
 
I’ve been a fan of Faye as I find her entertaining. However, Faye’s behaviour tonight is obviously unacceptable, but the producers also have a lot to answer for here. She clearly has mental health issues (which is not an excuse) but to have someone who flies off the handle so easily.. nah, the producers have failed in their screening and failed to protect Teddy and her. She needs to be taken out and given some serious therapy, as does Teddy.

I wouldn't call it aggressive. Angry and shouty absolutely, but trust me if you've seen real aggression (and I have far too many times) that wasn't it.

I think this level of outrage is misplaced.

Sorry but EVERYONE picks flattering angles/photos of themselves to post on the grid. You cannot compare that with Jake clearly slating Liberty and egging on the other boys to play away. Liberty deserves way better than Jake the weasel gnome!
 
I don’t think there’s anything more to be said/that I can add re Faye. She needs therapy and to learn healthy strategies to deal with her emotions during periods of conflict.

The way Jake got all high and mighty about Faye bringing sisters in to it made me roll my eyes. Cause it was one of her few valid points. If you wouldn’t encourage a guy your sister was seeing to crack on at Casa Amor maybe you should treat other woman with the same respect. He’s just a little red faced snake.

I want Liberty to love herself and dump him. I bet there’s a guy watching the show who thinks she is absolutely stunning and would tell her so every damn day. Same goes for Teddy. You deserve better!

Angry and shouting is aggression. Just because she hasn’t smashed anything or lashed out physically doesn’t mean it isn’t aggression. She was being verbally abusive. 🙄

There’s flattering and then there’s cat fishing. Liberty is half the size on Instagram than she is on love island.
Shes clearly got doubts about him anyway.
 
I’m disgusted the producers think that is appropriate to broadcast on television. We are all responsible for our own words, I agree. But they are the ones posting about the importance of “be kind”. Who is going to want to couple up with Faye after that? Who would put up with that on the outside?
It’s bullying- and they should have pulled her up on it and taken her out of the show.
If a man spoke to her that way, it would be abuse.
The producers have a big part in their #bekind campaigns. People will talk about what they see, and have a right to call that out as a red flag.
