I’ve looked up all the details for the car. It’s a 2018 911 4 GTS (nice model) with 24,000 miles on the clock, 7 owners since new (ouch) and she’s owned it for 6 weeks. Interestingly it’s not a new plate, it’s the licence plate that’s always been on the car. So just a coincidence that it’s a LX plate.

Cars and expensive tit is NOT what Christmas is about. Especially when it could well be your husband’s last.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love the car and a designer handbag or two (I’ll make do with the inevitable pj’s and choccies) but with Lorna it all just seems a bit… hollow. There’s no real love in that transactional relationship of theirs, and I wouldn’t trade my quality street and precious time with my family for all the Chanel leather goods in the world.
