Nice to know I am not alone! I swear it takes more effort to not pronounce t/h than to actually do it! I once heard someone say they had been to see Colla-uh-rul Beau-ee ( Collateral Beauty) and I swear my ears nearly started bleeding!
I was made to practise saying words with th in them, because I used to pronounce that sound as f, so that is another one that gets on my nerves.
From what I have seen of her presenting, Ruth Langford comes across as a sensible, educated lady who isn’t a pushover but can see someone else’s point of view. I think she would make a great anchor for the show!
Linad doesn't make any effort with any aspect of the show, she has never prepared, never knows anything about the topics being discussed. If I have to hear one more time about her husband leaving her and having a new partner:rolleyes:

Stacey is in a different league to Linda. She does have intelligence, Linda is an embarrassment. It’s not about the way they speak, it’s about professionalism and knowing stuff outside of their own lives. Linda never prepares, and despite the opportunities her career has offered her, she doesn’t know much of life outside Islington. They humour her, she’s the batty old baggy mouth. The newer ones like Sunetra and Katie must wonder what the hell when she’s on. At least Stacey has an awareness of the wider world.

Stacey still exaggerates her way of speaking so that the words are distorted. If she can learn about decorating a cottage, transitioning from a singer to a host and making money why can’t she learn to speak english properly?

It’s almost like she wants to speak badly.

It’s such a shame that she ruins so many words.

I switched off after Kellie brought her blackness into it again. She made hood points on her experience on being dyslexic etc but then ruined it with “being the only blacks person at school”.
Agree in a way but then maybe she was….
Penny is such a bandwagon jumper. All about self promotion

Great points but sometimes I do find her quite genuinely warm and empathetic. I wonder how her other daughter feels about her obsession with Lauren and her daughters? Did not even realise she had another daughter (knew she had a son).

"Is striking selfish?" WTF comes up with these titles? Kellie says she has a family member and a family friend who work for the rail/trransport and they are happy in theirs jobs and don't want to strike. Umm Kellie no one wants to strike because YOU DON'T GET PAID YOUR WAGES. She then comments that a London train driver base salary is 55k and can go up to 70-80k. Your point Kellie? The temerity of these people getting paid properly, how dare they? I know there has to be opposing views, but ugh?

Charlene shot her down quite well though. And the the other two weren’t in agreement with her either.

I only saw the last 5 minutes today, were there only 4 people on the panel?

There has always been 4 people on the panel. Today was a joint Loose Women & Men with 2 women and 2 men to celebrate Soccer Aid

Do you mean were there any guests on today? If that’s what you meant then the answer is no, it was just the panellists
