LOL. I have never, ever known a washing machine be in a bathroom. Kitchen, yes; utility room, yes. Bathroom???? I'm guessing you're not in the UK?

I used to have mine in the utility room but my current flat doesn’t have one so yes, the bathroom. For some reason I’ve always found the idea of washing your clothes in the kitchen strange even though I know it’s a common practice 🤷‍♀️

When she said she didn’t like or understand a word of slaughterhouse five by kurt “vongut” I gasped.
I did the same. It’s not a hard book at all. I can understand not liking it (I just don’t think you have good taste) but the fact it was too complex for her? Good bleeping grief. She’s always banging on about having a dry sense of humour yet she clearly didn’t see what a funny, beautiful and powerful little book it is.

When I read a “complex” book, I bleeping Google it to understand it. Slaughterhouse Five is one of my fave books ever. Maybe it’s because I read it while in school in Dresden, but still. Also, why did she pronounce Vonnegut like she’d never heard the name before? She’s such an avid reader though, you guys 🙄

Good good just painfully watched Lizzy's latest vlog as bored on the train. Benefit it actually did make me fall asleep.
What is going on with her lips? She looks as if she has been stung by a bee.
Also moaning about spending 60 quid in boots . This from someone who gets gifted EVERYTHING. Must be tough having to part with your cash for a change.
I’ve been noticing her lips too. And she’s happy with them, because she’s pouting more and more.

I don’t understand, her lips were full enough naturally. Just like she was thin enough naturally. It must be toxic to work in an environment where it all evolves around your looks. Makes people insecure, even about their “strong points”.

Different regulations, nothing more. There are many that would find it "strange" to see electrical items in bathrooms. Also, I feel the conversation has moved into castigating a youtuber, because she doesn't like "your" favourite book/author. Books always have differing viewpoints, and something that was meaningless or unrelatable at one stage of your life, well you may have a different understanding at another.

I'm more taken back, that turning up to an outdoor pop up for a brand is considered "work" and likely involves getting some gifted or discounted jewellery.

Well, thanks for attacking me for having my own opinion. You have a great day, too! 💖

Of course taste is subjective that’s not the issue here. I’m questioning whether “it confused me, I didn’t love it” really warrants a review. A quick google would have told her that the book is based on real life experiences like the ww2 destruction of Dresden and the authors trauma as a young soldier. It’s only a short book; funny, philosophical and hard not to be affected by (in my opinion). But to just disregard it in such an flippant way made her look quite ignorant and a bit thick (in my opinion).

Agreed - and looking back at her videos, she's had quite a lot of filler put in too. If you look at her latest pic on the gram, whoever has done the filler really hasn't done a good job at all - it's mainly in the outer lip border, which automatically makes them look fake, as no one has natural fullness there.

She seems generally fairly clueless about beauty, which is strange really considering how much stuff she must be sent by brands.

I always thought that her lips were natural. However, in the picture you can clearly see the mark of the injection.

It is so sad that she went from a unique creator to a completely bland londoner wearing every shades of beige. I mean, come on! Her style was amazing few years ago. Now she is buying the same grandpa shoes, the same straight leg jeans with the same oversize sweater. It is incredibly boring as a viewer to watch her.

I don’t have a problem with her not liking a book but to just shrug off like that came off as totally vacuous. She can go into excruciating detail about identical items of clothing in testing basics but she has literally nothing to say about one of the most well regarded books of the twentieth century. 🤔 Basic

No one said it’s their favourite book, no one said Vonnegut is their favourite author. I know you’re over exaggerating to make it sound like we’re not being fair because that was your emotional reaction to our comments, but I just want to point out it’s a very reasonable criticism to point out that someone who reads soooo many books can’t even recount the plot of a short story like Slaughterhouse-Five, and that it’s not just reflective of her comprehension skills (or how much attention she pays when reading) but also of her taste, as someone earlier pointed out, she’s clearly not so interested in the perspective of a WW2 veteran coping with PTSD which supports the greater conversation on here that Lizzy is more and more style and show over substance.

edit: just remembered I specifically said “I can understand not liking it (I just don’t think you have good taste) but the fact it was too complex for her?” So I don’t understand your comment at all.

I have to disagree here... It's pretty easy to recreate that illusion by pouting and sucking in your cheeks, something she does all the time. I know it's been speculated forever that Lizzy gets her lips done, but I just don't see her doing that. Maybe that's incredibly naive of me, but I think her face has largely remained the same since her early vlogging days.

Hmm, you try and pout and reproduce what she's doing - getting that uneven effect with your lips isn't easy I think you'll find!

Outside the U.K., a washing machine in the bathroom or in the attic is quite common. I’m not from the U.K., but lived in the U.K. for years. I could never get used to sorting dirty laundry next to where you cook. But I realise this is a cultural bias of mine.

I didn’t used to believe that she used lip filler either. But I’ve specifically been noticing a change recently. A while back she posted some sort of throwback to her in a bikini. And that was a big difference with the next current-day post.

It can be quite hard to tell, what with the pouting, cheek-sucking, generous application of lip balm, etc. If she has had injections, then her doctor is very good, because it's too subtle for me to tell. For reference, here's a side-by-side of her from 2016 and her last vlog.

I live outside the UK (NZ). No one has their washing machine in their kitchens. They are either housed in a laundry room or in the garage.
