Liz Jones #4 Why am I so miserable and can't get a shag? Is it because I smell and am a drunken old hag?

yeah see what you're saying, but all the posters here and many that have had the misfortune to come across her irl, know that she is a really nasty piece of work, look how she puts down retail staff, waiting staff, all types of staff, she is reprehensible. Just this week in the dreary, she absolutely slated an elderly couples house, and if she was actually viewing it then she has given full details that anyone who knows them could work out, also she wished she could drown David in a hot tub..excuse me! She has even had a go at a member on here, putting his name in print, she does that a lot and no one has the right to reply,much like Nirpal has not had the right to reply over all of these years, so yeah, he lost it and said exactly what a lot of people would want to say to her given how she treats other people, and never seems to face consequences, maybe it's time for her comeuppance?
 
What I don’t understand is why Nirpal went through with the wedding. Neither of them look properly happy in the photos. He clearly disliked her at the time. Was it just that he wanted to carry on living in her house? Or that he thought it would be a good free party for his mates? Some sort of bet??
Surely he wasn’t concerned about Liz’s feelings if he was seeing other women. And even if he thought Liz was still in her 30s and he wanted to be a dad at some point, surely he couldn’t have thought she was the maternal type?? All very odd.
 
I think Nirpal went as far as he could with other people being there and would have said much more if they were alone. She wanted a wedding and paid for the lot. He was bought and paid for. She dangled the money carrot and expected a compliant, obedient husband in return. She knew his faults she wrote about them, some valid, some not. I hope he was well paid for having to sit there while she is simpering in a wig pretending to be a star from a dated show she can't seem to let go of. Maybe now she will stop writing about him and leave the man in peace. If she is upset by his spite and venom she deserves it, she's done it to him for years.

With SATC, it does seem to have a hold over women of a certain age who were in their 30s and 40s in its heyday. It’s annoying that Carrie was the star though, she was very spoilt, childish, flighty and inconsiderate of others’ feelings- Miranda was a much better role model who worked hard and got her head down. What it did well was show how women could enjoy sex and have a choice, but it created a generation of nightmares :)

This reminds me, am I thick or is her grasp on mathematics as tenuous that on reality? 3.5 boyfriends plus a husband. Pretending the 70s Movie Star and the ludicrous Rock Star stories were true, how does it work out to 3.5?

Elizabeth, if you keep better track of your stories, your plot-holes will be less gaping.
 
The movie star one was a load of crap though, it was a guy she met when she was very young, not sure they even did have a kiss, then he had a couple of bit parts in a couple of movies, and now is a tour guide. I seem to remember she came across him recently (in the last couple of years) decided to stalk him and then embellished a whole (untrue) story about him

Yes I noticed that photo with the somewhat chunky arms was used in the article.

I do wonder though, as they are both so cynical and clearly contemptuous of their readers, whether Nirpal is angling for his own column and is setting himself up as a ‘lad’ or whatever boorish ostensibly telling-it-as-it-is shock author (I’ve never read clarkson or Katie Hopkins as they are despicable but this is the kind of thick crusty old gammon I am thinking of) if so, he’s really overshot the mark here he comes off as violent.
I’m rather used to liz’s lies and over exaggerations but he’s really effed himself here. I can’t see why else he would do this. They can’t have paid him that much.

That's it, yeah. She had a teenage crush on him, suggested they kissed (may not have) and then that he stayed over after a party or something, calling him "the first man she slept with." He went on to have a few very small walk-on roles in movies, retired around 2000 and has a long term partner. A couple of years ago she spotted him in a documentary about The Exorcist (he was not even in that movie, he just gave an interview about his opinion of it) and then she started gushing about him in her podcast and column. She had Nic send clips of the documentary to her fans and admitted she'd paid for multiple subscription sites to track him down. When people started commenting this was creepy, she was all "but everyone Googles their exes!" She wrote that she was emailing him heavily Photoshopped pictures of herself but then abruptly stopped mentioning him - did he or his partner make a complaint? Now she thinks he'd be happy to do an interview/photoshoot about their non-existent "romance?"
 
yep she did indeed say she "slept with him" I assume that means they shared the same house, room even, but there def was no sex, quite apart from the fact that she constantly bleats on about losing her virginity at 32. The inclusion of the not movie star or ex lover, makes it even stranger that David wasn't asked, or of course maybe he was and totally blanked her, but she can't say that as she is currently weaving a ridiculous plot where they're going to go on holiday and he is making bone broth for the "puppies" despite her wanting to drown him in a hot tub!

Don't get me started on his attempt to use the article as a platform for his clumsy, ill considered, dreadful writing which was clearly the only reason he attended. The misogyny. The unnecessary bragging about only getting off picturing her friends. She might be annoying but that's turning the screw.

He basically admitted using her and insulted her on the basis of her age. Like you didn't know that when you married her? I don't care how annoying she is, you don't denigrate anyone like that in print.

I know she can be unpleasant, odd and doxxy herself but that guy actually made me feel sorry for her.

Cynically I think this:

They've likely done it by mutual agreement to raise each other's profiles. I think they deliberately tried to portray some kind of Heard v Depp scenario so the public get whipped into a frenzy of debating who's in the right / wrong. Reality is no one cares, nowadays nobody knows who she is and probably haven't heard of him either. She's been eviscerating him in public for 25 years and he only said what plenty of people over different forums have written over the years in a thousand different ways.
