Sorry I made a mistake- it’s the rug in the bottom of the picture. So, that means the picture was taken at her surprise party…. By one of her children.

I can only imagine the reaction I would get off my adult children if I asked them to take a picture of me posing like this. It would almost certainly involved the expression “What the actual duck are you doing mum?”.

FYI From now on I will be calling a takeaway a “surprise party”

We can assume big sister was babysitting little sister and did the right thing by little sister by helping her create a “birthday” for her tragic mother. The Chinese meal was likely purchased and eaten by the two girls. Maybe her parents and other offspring were out of shot, changing into their drag queen shoes.
Why is she posing for her own daughters as if she's a murderer from an 80s film trying to seduce a mildly demented elderly gentleman? She has the face of a psychopath.

And yeah... the shoes. I noticed them too. I think drag queens are more stylish though. My mum would think those were too frumpy and she's nearly 80.

Look. You’re all missing the point. She still fits into the dress she wore for her fortieth! Let’s celebrate THAT.
Except it wasn't the dress she wore for her fortieth.

Liz, check your photos.

So many Liz’s and not a single one to like…

this def has to be a contender for next thread tittle
Deff think this should be the next title!

Poor little S having to go into school and tell everyone about her old mum's 50th birthday, when her contemporaries are probably celebrating their mum's 30ths or 40ths this year. I don't care what anyone says, mum had me at 39 and I spent my whole childhood acutely aware that my mum was different from the other mums.

I think it depends where you live. I certainly know a lot of women who have had babies in their late thirties and early forties and no one bats an eyelid. But then I would struggle to distinguish most of them from the mums who had their kids in their early thirties as none of them look or act any older to be honest. But I appreciate it isn't the same everywhere.

Anyway maybe S won;t even mention it at school - a Chinese takeaway and some confetti on the table isn't worth talking about really

So! FB has told her (as per) that 10 years ago she came first in the Cambridge 10k!

Well, I did a bit of research, and it seems she came nowhere near first in an October 2014 10k. She came 32nd in fact.

I don’t think FB told her anything. I think she’s just nuts and wanted to tell a massive lie about herself. But not a very smart one because, clearly, she’s nowhere near winning all these races and leaving all the men behind. 32nd. Hmmm.

Wonder how Facebook got it so wrong.

About both the 10K and the 40th birthday dress.

And yes, I imagine she probably was first Vet woman in the 10K, which is pretty impressive. But Liz - first Vet woman does not mean you won the race. Yet another misleading Liz-post. With all those photos, posts and reminders to rely on, you'd think she'd manage to get the basics right.

I have a lot of questions including why does she keep using random capitals everywhere? Why is it always Rights not rights? And then - "I never think about it". And the coincidence of the message arriving on the anniversary of the thing she never thinks about even though she gets these messages all the time. And that is just for starters. Given how much of what she wrote she has managed to contradict in HER OWN POSTS I can only imagine what a job the lawyers would have if this ever gets past the option stage.
