Ref the radio thing last night, whatever it was, I still find it absolutely unfathomable that somebody whose own parenting experience seems so extremely – and I mean
extremely - awful is a go-to rent-a-mouth for parenting/children segments in the media. I have no plans to listen to whatever it was, because there is nothing this woman could tell me about kids that I need to hear. Why is she ever a spokesperson for parenting, when it is on record that she hated being a mother, resented her kids, left the older 3 and emigrated when they were teens, and now seems to have little to do with the youngest? Whatever programme it was last night has zero credibility in my eyes, if the editors think this woman has anything in the way of valid advice on children, or indeed resilience. They might as well ask a bankrupt’s view on financial planning.
I know she loves to HELP people, but talking parenting bollocks whilst being a terrible – and I mean
terrible - mother in real life is just ludicrous. It’s a joke. It’s nonsense.
Which of her ventures has ever HELPED anybody?
Even Coming Clean will hardly have helped people, unless they were planning on buying an alcoholic for £25K (+ breathalyser). I guess at least Liz’ experience as detailed in her book will show that it wouldn’t be value for money.
And,
@Replyingnow , I wonder if we're all less than six degrees of separation from an international standard athlete, or two!
