if you watch the youtube channels on LOD , they will blow your mind , the amount of time people put into theories is frightening

This is my favourite , H isnt a character, H is the OCGs chain of command, so the four points of the H is for four caddies, and the line in the middle is the top person, at first it makes no sense, but then the 10 minute theory ends and you come away thinking its all true, then you watch another theory and that becomes the one that fits , they are almost as good as the program

That is my weekend viewing sorted then! Nothing else to do since were still in bloody lockdown

I’m lost why are people saying Buckells could be the caddy, I thought Dot was already revealed to be the caddy?

Tbh if they’re anything like me, they’re just suspicious of everyone at all times . I think it’s partly because he’s been in most series & taken over some of the cases of main characters (like Tony Gates & Roz Huntley), doesn’t necessarily make him suspicious but might be one reason. He’s also been promoted pretty quickly for someone who seems rather incompetent . The golf clubs in his office in s6 probably didn’t help either haha, but now I’m wondering if that’s a red herring!

I know what you mean! So many people seem to suspect him now that I think it might be too obvious if it’s him. I think maybe he’s a bit iffy somehow, but hoping he isn’t the last H/caddy/whatever we’re calling them now

Know it’s a long shot but Steve’s boss in season 1 when he was on anti terror unit. The hole man. I have a feeling he will appear in this season after all he was corrupt trying to force Steve to change his statement

Hilton is in season 1 and then he wasn’t in it again till season 4 with Roz so never know

I love the way LOD brings back characters, it really creates this whole universe and continuity that, even when the characters are offscreen they've still been around the whole time.

One thing that always gets me re: the morse code, Steve worked out that it was 4 dots = 4 x H/4 caddies and they immediately jumped to who the 4 people are who could be H. Are they not trying to find who else could be a caddy? If other caddies are like Dot they'd be recruiting/blackmailing cops, that would all be going on under AC-12's nose. Remember in S1, Hunter called Dot the best caddy he ever had, there must be more of them that Ted at al haven't uncovered yet. Obviously Ryan is one but he's at the bottom of the rung in his career at th moment.

He doesn't seem like the most competent guy ever, but you'd think someone who really was one of the caddies would think not to keep golf clubs visible to a room of detectives hunting for a caddy? It is a double bluff? A triple bluff? It's like in Friends when they're all like "but they don't know we know that they know!"

1. I'm convinced Jo is somehow related/linked too Tommy Hunter and I think she was Dot Cottan's girlfriend (met through Tommy).
2. Buckles is involved somehow but I think he's very low down the pecking order.
3. Kate is 1000% undercover and Ted knows, Steve is left out the loop.

Completely agree they’ll link it to her in some way, I’m not sure whether all of her was found with Corbett or just parts. I assume there’s something to be found otherwise why remove the freezer

I’ve just seen a very short advert on BBC where Kate is apologising to Steve!!!

So I was re-watching series 2 yesterday and I was wondering about Akers (the one who was in with the OCG and whose husband Kate was shagging) he says something to Kate like “she trusts us with her life” and it just got me thinking that maybe she’s been involved from the beginning. She also got very close to Dot and throwing him under the bridge (literally) could have been her way of getting him shut up.
I love Kate and I don’t want her to be a bad apple but both Hastings and Steve have been in jail and had to prove they weren’t involved and the fact that Kate hasn’t makes me wonder....... also she is really submissive with her ex husband and so maybe he knows something or maybe he is involved somehow!!!

I saw one too this week and Steve is on the phone, clearly pissed off and says something like ‘Can’t believe you did that, mate’
Not verbatim but along those lines! I only ever hear him call Kate, mate?
