I can not follow it through - but I think its too obvious to be a person now. It relates to something. In series 1 episode 1 Steve was involved with a death at the wrong address - is this the way it ties in - it takes him back to the beginning? I am just rewatching them all have been since Thursday as I had the COVID vaccine and was poorly poorly so nothing but watching it all from the beginning again and then rewatching bits etc.

Also Ryan was a young boy in that episode (s1) so that gives me the theory how that block of flats has always been important - I can not see how they would have befriended Terry and manipulated him without others / or having an interest in the building aside from it being opposite the printing shop.

i'll be quiet then.... lol :)

No need to be quiet it’s a good theory in terms of the location of Carl Banks and Dots ‘morse code’ I think it could be a key location

Easy to get confused with all Steve’s women to be fair 🤣 but yes Nicola Rogerson worked under Hargreaves in major violent crime, she tipped Steve off about the tracker with Denton/Akers cars if I remember rightly. And now it seems she’s had a promotion 🧐
I want to throw my theory out there might be far fetched and shared by others but Terry Boyle lives at Flat number 4F? Beachwood. I don't think Dot was saying 4 people in morse code I think he was saying 4H Beachwood? Its where the fridges (I know Jacky Laverty was in the fridge at Terry Boyles) went after they were in Terrys and could be the reason why Karl Banks wasn't seen leaving the building because he was next door.
This is an interesting theory! I’ve not read anything similar actually. I’m also very curious as to why it took so long for anyone to respond to Jo when they went into flat 4F 🤔

The one thing that puzzles me is that in season 1 Ryan was the one who was torturing Steve in the warehouse when he was looking for Tony Gates. Surely if Steve comes across Ryan he’ll recognise him straight away?
I think it’s definitely plausible that Steve would recognise him! We shall see 👀
Yes when I rewatched it I struggled to understand how he could have been accepted into training
I can only assume it’s because he was a minor at the time and pretty much just doing Tommy Hunter’s dirty work. I don’t know whether he was or could’ve been convicted of anything at that age 🤔. He mentioned in his interview about where he grew up and how it was easy to fall in with the wrong crowd etc, plus if someone up higher is aware of him (which I assume they are) then I guess they could always pull strings.

I wonder if he would Ryan was a child maybe 10? Or it might come to him after he has seen him?
Yeah maybe he just won’t recognise him. Although if someone was screaming ‘you bent b**tard’ at me constantly and had my hand in a vice I reckon I would 😂😂😂 it’s a weird point for me but will see what happens!

True, that’s probably the point...someone higher up, perhaps ‘H’ if it is a person has probably got him in.

I think the flat thing is still entirely valid. It's not where Terry lives, but it's where they ensured he'd be to be found.

There was a Lee Banks working with Stephen Graham in the gang in the last season. I imagine Carl is related.

I for one am counting down the hours until episode 2 😂 😂

If Top Gear runs over by 3 minutes again, I'll be fuming 🤣

I can't even keep up with this thread 😂 I never remember anyone's names. I need an AC-12-style noticeboard in my living room with everyone's pictures.

Everyone on this thread with our theories:
