Mmm I think it's definitely an abuse situation because according to LOD wiki, Hunter would've been 14 when Jo was born.

So either Hunter groomed and abused his sister or he was groomed and abused by his sister.

Because of the abuse, he was taken into care (and was later groomed into joining the OCG) as was her mother and the baby (Jo) was given up.

I reckon the person in that photo is her nan (or adoptive mother?) who looked after but died suddenly, forcing her to go into care too. Hence her being groomed into joining the force and being bent.

True. If they were separated and put into care, they could have met in a home and had a relationship without knowing until it was too late.

They haven’t actually said it’s her mum I don’t think, though they confirmed she’s dead.

Tommy was killed off in the show but had been so badly burnt there is scope for them to say “surprise not dead”.

As they all seemed to know about Hunters son, but Jo’s DNA results were complete news to them (even incest aside) I’m really leaning to her having been in care.
 
I must have assumed Samantha to be Jo’s mum - it’s a mistake to assume anything when it comes to LoD!!
Yes, I had just checked that Tommy was dead. We may never find out the circumstances of Jo’s conception 😱
Although Jo must already know something to have been angry enough to throw the glass at the photo.

I don’t think they’d drop a massive bombshell like that and then never mention it again, so I reckon we’ll find out the Hunter family history over the next two episodes. They also didn’t specifically say the relations (just incest), while leaving the post it for people to notice when they were talking about Hunters son, Jo’s (presumably half) brother which they tend to do then come back to the details later.

Hmmm I’ve just rewatched episode one season two and you never actually saw him as he had a cover over his head when he was being transported and then burned so maybe it wasn’t him after all...

Yes, they just had paperwork that said it was him. It's not outside the realm of possibility that it wasn't actually him. We never see him go in the police car, and he's all burned when he comes out. There could have been someone else they took into the house for Akers to take out and set it up to make it look like it was Hunter while someone else snuck the real Hunter out of the house.
 
Did anyone see Adrian Dunbar on GMB yesterday? He said some fans have worked out what happens.
Not sure if it's been mentioned but seen an article in The Sun about Lakewell telling Steve to "look beyond the race claim" to find H. Unscramble "race claim" and you get Carmichael 🙈
This show is an absolute head duck 🤣

What about in the flashbacks, we see him sat in the car then next to Akers. It doesn’t make sense to me how they’d sneak someone pass Akers to exchange for Tommy, when the whole plan was thought up to get rid of Tommy by her and Dot. He didn’t seem to have many on his side by that time.

If the body was burnt beyond recognition, I'm sure the post mortem would have included checking dental records and DNA.

I agree, there must be a reason why she's still a cast member. I think there may be still more about John Corbett to come out.
I think H is Andrea Wise ??, the woman who is forcing Ted to retire. I think he's getting too close to the truth.
I don't think Steve or Kate are high enough to be able to manipulate matters like putting Ryan Pilkington in place and Steve in particular is too careless ( sex and pills).
I think Ryan is dead (good riddance) and both Jo and Kate may have shot him.

Hmm this threw me a bit as the betting shop robbers were kids! They had never been involved in any major crime before, nothing with guns. How would they know if a gun looked dodgy? Unless it was blatenly obvious but if it was the OCG wouldn't want to use them in case they didn't work?
 
I’ve thought from season 5 that H was Andrea wise ... I dont know why but I just had a gut feeling ........ then when I seen season 6 and jo throw her glass at the picture , I thought to myself could that he Andrea wise in the picture too ..... I think like everyone my head is just all over the place with this show 🤣🤣 I just finished season one again and I’m scrutinising every word and action by everyone 😂😂 my hubby is going mad with me and has told me just to get back to watching TOWIE 😂😂😂😂
I’ve never been this manic about a tv show .... it feels like it’s actual real life 🤪
