I definitely think he’s important somehow. They focused on his face clearly in episode and then he returned again in the last (?) episode so they must want us to remember him?

I wondered about this too
I thought it was difficult to tell if there was anything gone from the envelope. I suppose any large quantity could’ve aroused suspicion even if it was just part of the £50k. I guess the other option would be another brown envelope from elsewhere, but I’m not sure about that

I just can’t shake the feeling it’s someone significant, the lad from the bookies is dull AF and is literally the worst cliffhanger! I also doubt Ted would remember his name or that it would elicit more than a ‘hmmm interesting...’ but maybe that’s just me. I think the kids are linked to the OCG or the guns, and that’ll help, but I really doubt it’s who Jo is related to.

I've learned from overspeculating on past shows that I can end up really disappointed with the actual endings of shows I've otherwise loved, so I don't tend to spend too much time thinking about all the possibilities... and I prefer to deal with the facts.I only discovered LOD after series 5 and I binged watched them all so I’ve never experienced the week in week out and it’s all I think about
The wait between the different series has been crazy though. 2012 was a looooong time ago so you're massively lucky you've not been trapped hanging upside down on this rollercoaster for that long!!
There's no way he's "mother of god" worthy. Jed won't do us over like that.

How old is Terry? Could he be Jo's son/brother? When she launched the glass at the pic of her and her mum she was obvioulsy pissed right off; maybe she was up the pole and her mum made her her give him up.
I have decided it isnt Kate as its too obvious and maybe misdirection.
In series one she was already undercover and Steve was all arsey with her about going after bent coppers.........

I agree. I also think being Hunter’s sister is plausible but I can’t shake that I think it’s far too obvious for Jed.
The photo woman I think will be part of the backstory but not previously significant in LoD - I think the slightly similarity to AM was deliberate but a Jed Herring (I wouldn’t actually be surprised if it turns out to be a pic of Kelly MacDonald and her mum).
