Yes I do get Ted’s reaction warrants a more prominent character to be related to Jo but I feel she was behind the hold up at the bookies and her being related to the young boy puts her in the frame

I think it was a plan from the OCG that she was manipulated into to delay her being able to arrest Carl Banks, I agree there but I don’t think she knows them.

The photo woman I think will be part of the backstory but not previously significant in LoD - I think the slightly similarity to AM was deliberate but a Jed Herring (I wouldn’t actually be surprised if it turns out to be a pic of Kelly MacDonald and her mum).

Here I go speculating after saying I don't 😂

I'd think Hunter would be her uncle on her mum's side if anything, because that would link the photo of her mum and the reaction to it.
 
I hope none of the 3 are bent, I think it would be nice if they came out of this as genuine good guys. Plus Kate would be covering being undercover whilst being undercover 🤯 and would surely of slipped up by now. Plus what is she gaining?

I do think Ted will be killed, Wise & the PCC guy are bent AF & want him gone!
 
The issue for me with the son theory is that for most of the real candidates she would either have to have been painfully young (which I suppose they could do) eg Terry Boyle or she’d already have been in the police eg Ryan (yes I know it can’t be him because he’s a cop also but he’s the age group I need ☺️)) where it’s unlikely she’d have been able to conceal a pregnancy.

We saw Ryan's mum in the first series anyway.

Also important to remember that Jo isn't originally from the area she works in.

How old is Terry? Could he be Jo's son/brother? When she launched the glass at the pic of her and her mum she was obvioulsy pissed right off; maybe she was up the pole and her mum made her her give him up.

I have decided it isnt Kate as its too obvious and maybe misdirection.

In series one she was already undercover and Steve was all arsey with her about going after bent coppers.........

Not me thinking I knew everything about Line of Duty and only now thinking about the hairdresser thing 😐😂 I just thought it was a way of Steph explaining the money situation and now I’m mind boggled. Brb rethinking everything I thought I knew 😂

But that could be why HMRC are all over her like a woman on chips. Maybe its bringing in too much revenue, £10k for low lights (London maybe:))

Wish i put this much effort into my actual job.

Part of me thinks she’s just lonely as it’s implied she’s divorced now and so she’s got feelings for Jo (she does have form for that a bit with Akers husband), but the other part of me thinks she’s up to something.

I’m firmly in the team of Jo being coerced/forced to be bent so the former would make more sense for that.
