The preview of the episode says 'an interview goes tragically wrong' and in the series trailer, it looks like Ted collapsing in a lift. I think the interview with Buckells gets heated, and Ted has a heart attack.

I haven't watched s3 for a while, but I'm sure we did see him take his last breaths (also seen his dying declaration every series since!)

I'm unsure in what way (and I am sad when writing this) that he could plausibly strut back into AC12. Take the question about Kate's bent-ness out of it, I thought him being shot to protect Kate was his last act of redemption after knowing either way he was going to prison for a long time (and even if he'd cut a deal and told about the OCG its plausible they'd arrange to have him killed anyhow) or he was to die. At heart I'd like to believe he was shot to protect Kate so she could find the real H or H's or Hillside etc. I'd love to be wrong, but I think even with Jed's superb writing having Dot back in any other form than a flashback would be a cheap shock for the audience rather than an actual decent storyline... but as I said I'd loovvveee to be wrong as I miss him daily

As soon as I heard “Carl Banks” I assumed they were related but honestly with LoD who knows if they are then I don’t think anyone seems to have picked up on it yet, so perhaps not?

Also, I watched back the main trailer and Chloe is crying in it...my first thought was Steve or Ted getting hurt/killed, because she's not close to anyone else really. Hope I'm wrong though...

He was on This Morning, this morning (lol) talking about how he'd like to be back so I doubt he'd be brought back as a shock.

Very sad news. Her recaps were brilliant. Will be missed in this house.

I've just seen the journalist Sarah Hughes has died, aged 48. I loved her Line of Duty (and Game of Thrones) recaps. She wrote her last LOD recap the day before she died. Such sad news. Did anyone else read/enjoy her recaps?
