Honestly surprised she hasn't had a public meltdown about her low views yet. I could see her desperately trying to put the blame on other people or factors somehow (e.g. being a mom or some tit). Her viewership has SERIOUSLY plummeted. I guess people have finally had enough of her negative attitude and lack of creativity. She hasn't attained 100K views on a video in MONTHS. Even Anna performs better now.
Lily’s views are not that far off Madeleine Olivia’s views, and she just hit 500 k. I think that’s why Anna gets expensive adverts - because her views are quite high for the amount of subscribers she has.

Anna gets better brands because she works harder than Lily. Like her or not - she has a better understanding of the industry and has a long term strategy for her own personal brand. Anna treats it like a job.
It’s actually interesting. I keep comparing Anna, Lily and Madeleine Olivia. They are all in the UK, have roughly the same number of subscribers, same age, etc. However Lily doesn’t take it seriously atm and MO keeps disappearing because of her mental health. It seems to be that Anna is the one who not only takes it seriously but also is seemingly lucky with not having any mental health issues.
The only other people with similar number of subscribers that I follow are Ruby Granger (she has views on par with Anna or higher) and Hermione Chantal (views on par with Lily’s) but their channels are quite different in their topics so it’s not a direct comparison.

Lily is still so hung up on being an 'OG' that she hasn't got the headspace to actually start treating seriously. I think she feels (as with most things) that the influencer World owes her. Other influencers have got it, they understand they need to stay relevant in some way and have a hook. Lily's hook is 'keeping it real' which in her head is moaning about a perfectly decent house and telling her audience they didn't stretch themselves (oh look at us, we have some much money we could've bought an even BIGGER house than this). I honestly think she needs to take some time out, regroup and start treating it like a proper job - she might actually start enjoying it again.

I totally understand the 'losing yourself after a baby' phase. I really felt like that and it's taken me ages to get myself back to what I was (albeit a change/better version of that person). For Lily it's probably the first time she's been totally out of control of something in her life. I think she expected she'd have the baby and bounce back immediately because 'other women' feel lost post baby but she is not other women. And then BAM it hit her and it wasn't part of the 'the plan'.

Hmm, my impression was they allowed Grey to play with a lot of things that she can get her hand onto. Left, tampon and wallet - sorry if you don't want your kid to play with your wallet, shouldn't you put it away and tell her that it is not allowed. Underwear on her head and nose next?

Lily being alarmingly self aware in her stories today
saying that what makes her most proud of Grey is her ability make make others happy because she is so smiley and friendly - and Lily doesn’t know where she gets it from! 😂 Lily says she’ll let Rich take credit for Greys personality.

It’s lovely that she sees these qualities in her daughter... but that she doesn’t see them in herself? That’s honestly very sad.

I think Anna doesn't have mental health issues (or public ones at least) because of what you said @Mrs McCarthy - she treats it like a job and only puts out what she's comfortable with. She also has an online persona that isn't the 100% true Anna, again protecting her MH and allowing her to perform well at her job as influencer.

I think you are all right in that Lily needs a break. At least a month off to just be herself, live her life and figure out what she wants to be and do online. Absence definitely makes the heart grow fonder. She could come back refreshed and rejuvenated, and we might actually enjoy her again. I've had several mat leaves and while I never had post natal depression or struggled with MH, it is definitely a time of big changes where you need to allow yourself time and space just to be. I mean she's always moaned about influencers not having holidays from work, now is definitely the time to do it before she kills off her career completely.

I like Madeleine Olivia so much but I worry for her, I don’t think this is quite the right career for her given her mental health issues. She’s really good and I love her content but it seems to cause her so much stress - I wonder is it worth it?
She’s such a lovely genuine girl.

Oh Lily, at it again. Saying that labour is so natural and your body will take over. That was not the case for me and I ended up being rushed to theatre for an emergency C, I lost a lot of blood and my baby got quite distressed in my womb. But because SHE has done it right, everyone else automatically does right?
Also saying she had no personality between 6-9 weeks pregnant. Lol it never returned then?

Lily ended up having an emergency C section too so not really sure that she's implying no one should have any issues in labour, just poor phrasing on her part while she's trying to be encouraging.

I really like her too, and it does make me worry how much she seems to be suffering recently.
It seems to be a mixture of Covid anxiety, weight fluctuations and some other stuff, however who really knows. Also she a bit like Anna doesn’t seem to share everything so she could protect herself more just like Anna.

Yes and no. We can all have MH problems not related to our jobs, but I never ever remember Anna having one of those moments where she disappears for a while with no explanation (looking at Emma Hill here).
I must say that Anna is probably just genuinely very healthy mentally, and because of her job she is more protected from money worries than others, and her personality probably allows her to react less to bad comments. I mean even in her thread here we all make a bit of a laugh about her not so capsule wardrobe, but she has never had anything like how we laugh at Lily and all her fails 😂

It seems that Lily has been in the midst of some kind of identity crisis ever since she had a baby. I know she's struggled with weight gain/changes to her body etc. but it also seems that she's struggling in other areas too. I listened to last week's podcast this morning (I am always a week behind!) and Anna mentioned that she would like to be assertive like Lily is. Lily replied that she doesn't see herself as being assertive anymore - not since she's had a baby. She didn't go into the reasons why having a baby would affect her in that way but It's not the first time she's said something like this or referred to her pre-baby self as 'The Old Lily'. It seems like she feels she lost a piece of herself when she had a baby.

Super curious about why they'll put Grey into nursery at 2 and the reasoning behind it that clearly she's doesn't want to talk about

Yes me too. I thought that was odd, she could have just said she’ll be going when she’s two years old, a lot of people wait a bit longer if they can it’s not a big deal but by saying that she has made it one!
Can only think it’s something to do with Rich going
back to work full time and she’s having a strop about it?
