Lily Allen #3 Miss me? With Miquita Oliver

She released her own vibrator :ROFLMAO:
Ah I forgot about that😆. Although that was actually organic. She liked the clit vibe and spoke about it then brand then contacted her to do a color in her packaging.

That feels like an authentic partnership. Not like now when any influencer promotes any crap they're paid to.

I don’t think Lily could just be with a rich bloke, he needed to be rich but with connections and known. The wealth needs to come with a side of fame, through acting (her latest reinvention) or music.
She married the well to do builder and by all accounts she was bored and when the money ran out the marriage ended.

Lily for all of her protesting the opposite, thrives off attention, being seen. She could easily live a good life away from the paps and the media if she wanted to, she thrives off speculation, press inches and relevance.

I think Lily would like to tour but in reality, she might not be resilient enough for it. She might be worried about her sobriety while on tour. As much as a buzz I’m sure it is, it is hard and relentless, lonely work and she doesn’t seem to have coped well with it previously.

Being financially independent didn’t work for her before - she had to sell her dream house.

She has expensive taste. She likes couture and dining out at London’s top restaurants and the finer things in life.

She likes men with ‘daddy’ energy - men who can look after her in a way her dad couldn’t. She wants a stable man and part of that is financial stability.

David reportedly earns 7.5 million per episode of Stranger Things which I would imagine makes him one of the wealthier men she’s known, even though she has mixed in wealthy circles for years. I mean, even if he films two episodes a year that’s £15 million a year.

David is also famous and I think it’s important to her that she is seen to be culturally relevant, well-known and ‘cool’.

I think she would consider most brand deals to be beneath her, unless they were authentically driven like the vibrator. She thinks of herself as an artist, not an influencer.

I don’t think she married David for his money exclusively. I’m sure she likes the fact that he (appears to be) articulate, balanced, caring and respectful and many other traits we don’t know about. But I don’t think she would’ve married him if he wasn’t well off and well-connected. I think his financial generosity was a big pull for her.

I still don't buy her story that she had no choice but to sell it. A lot was happening with her seperation at the time.

He won't be on anything near 7 million an episode for stranger things, that maybe for the entire last season and that's a huge increase from what he used to be on.

Edit: I think that's $9.5 million for final season and back around when she met him it was $350k a season.

According to Puck, almost every major cast member in Netflix's Stranger Things recently took part in negotiations for new contracts for Season 5 of the series.

The report stated that each cast member was placed into a certain "tier," which decided the amount of money they will be making for the final season.

Tier 1 includes the two adult leads, David Harbour and Winona Ryder, who will be making $9.5 million each across the season's eight episodes. For comparison, Ryder and Harbour earned $350,000 each in Season 3 of the show, which translates to around $2.8 million for the season.

Tier 2 consists of Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo, the original four young male stars that the series has focused on since Season 1. It will also include Sadie Sink, who wasn't brought on until Season 2. Their new contracts will award them each over $7 million for Season 5. For comparison, in Season 1, the original four stars made $25,000 per episode.

Tier 3 consists of the other teens that regularly show up in the series such as Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, and Charlie Heaton, who will each be making over $6 million with their new contracts.

Tier 4 will include everyone else not mentioned above, and the specific amount of money they will make wasn't disclosed, but the figure will be "much less" than those in the other tiers.

the way her dad chose not to you mean…

I think the OF for feet account is just attention seeking and being a bit of dick, both things she seems to do every now and again, especially when she is bored and/or antsy. She might be making money from it too which helps.

I don’t think David’s star is on the rise, as lovely as he comes across. Not unless he can find another massive hit to be a part of. He isn’t leading man material or distinctive enough to carry a movie or project on his own. No shade on him though, I’m sure his earnings from ST will keep him very happy.

I think David also has a bit of an edge as well which she would find attractive.
I think she’s not the type to settle for a straight and boring guy.
even if hes sober, he’s not clean cut and probably keeps her on her toes to some extent, especially if he is an open relationship type, which along with his transient lifestyle and much higher fame levels could definitely have some bearing on her mental health as well as the hate she got when she admitted her rescue dog was harder work than she expected

I know womaniser is a legit brand but that packaging is a bit JBL/QVC isn’t it? Can’t imagine the artíste in her would have been happy with it!

To be fair to David he has gone from tv and bit part in the recent Bond films to being the leading man in some films off the back of ST, not all great but I'm sure they paid well. Hellboy was bad but his performance was fine, there were a lot of bad decisions making that film.

Violent Night, We Have A Ghost and Gran Turismo all got better critical reception and he's on the Marvel train, I'd say this is probably the high point of his career.

I liked the therapy episode but it's another topic that those two definitely need someone else to balance it out.

Lots of people that need therapy don't get it. But also lots of people get too much and it goes on forever, with them thinking they're getting better but they're getting worse going over the same things.

That's not to knock therapy as it's very useful for when you're going through something, but to have it going on forever can be detrimental.

I called it months ago that Lily and David’s relationship was in trouble. The London pad purchase isn’t coincidental- expect a split announcement and her moving back here v soon.
I think it’s a shame if it’s all gone tits up, mainly because he seemed really involved with her girls and their whole lives are in New York. I don’t know much about David but I think he has his own demons, and Lily clearly has a lot of issues to work through despite her sobriety.

I wonder if she signed a prenup

How long have her and the girls lived in America? I thought they only moved over there once she married David?

She has been dropping hints for ages about something that is wrong, whether they split up or not she will definitely milk it for all it’s worth. It’s Lily after all. Her desire for attention has never changed.

Her life is mostly in London and it's not that much of a deal to get between the two cities. Especially as her homes are in west London and Brooklyn, and she has global entry.

Ever since her marriage people have been saying it's over and she's been deliberately not talking about him much. Look beyond what she wants people to think.
