Basically someone wrote in asking about blind items and how truthful they were and Richard and Marina explained a bit about the history of blind items, the laws surrounding publishing them and they discussed publicists using gossip and blinds to their advantage. The tattle mention was tiny, I’ve just copied it from the

So can we take a moment to ensure she is remembered for thinking 'left on read' wasn't right because the ticks are blue. And her mate Grimmy thinking it was unread/red is just as stupid.
She really annoyed me in the episode when she asked lily if she'd enjoyed doing her episodes with 'your mate' - didn't even use his name. Was sure to talk about her mum's energy though
Miquita reached new levels of sheer stupidly thinking that it was "left it on red". duck me she's properly stoopid. Her and Grimmy are well matched. Lily seriously has the patience of a saint. A snarky saint.
This pod is the pinnace of Miquitas career, but not for the reason she thinks it is.A skilled broadcaster would give the illusion of effortlessness in terms of flowing into topics. Miquita is definitely not that
It only works because she is quite different to Lily and they have an interesting communal family bond.
I'm not surprised her mum didn't get the big job. Telling people to stop blabbering on about a creepy guy isn't it. Nore is declaring that you hold together a whole show that must have dozens of people working on it. It reminds me of Joey in Friends when he says in an interview that he writes most of his lines, so the writers kill his character.
I was surprised by how much andi and miquita sounded SO similar, i know she says they argue a lot but they clearly spend a lot of time together and are very close. It was nice to have some more context of the childhood and family dynamic from her side. Can also definitely see where miquita gets the waffle from
Although with Andi there's some knowledge and intellect with the waffle so it's not that bad.
Miquita has all the waffle but nothing to offset it and thinks the smallest things like being confused between read and red are deeply profound.
Pretentious and stupid aren't a good look.

she’s a nepobaby without any qualifications, she got the job at Popworld in her teens that set her up basically. Maybe that’s why she’s so immature and bitchy, she’s never had to work for anything. Just relied on mums connections.
I’m really behind and just listened to the episode where Miquita is crying poverty and Lily has to force her to acknowledge her privilege! OMG woman- you grew up in a family of bohemian creatives in Notting Hikl, your ‘auntie’ Neneh Cherry a huge popstar, your mum and uncle in bands and everyone around you having the best connections. She sounded so bitter when she said ‘but we were bleeping poor’. Erm you were rich enough for your grandmother to pay for your private schooling..

I generally like Andi Oliver but I do find Miquita banging on about being poor grating because…maybe you would’ve had more cash if your mum had stopped messing around trying to be famous??

We’ve chatted a bit about this up thread. General consensus is it’s bullshit, and if it isn’t it definitely shouldn’t have been printed.
Yes 100%, her explanation about there being more space in london growing up that you could throw a party anywhere made much more sense! I think Miquita probably tries to imitate her mothers way of speaking and intellect but misses the mark cos she lacks the life experience to go with it!

I agree there’s no reason to believe the blind item and it’s horrendous to put it out like there to speculate over. Stuff like that does happen to vulnerable women all the time, especially women who have no recourse to justice, and especially in situations where all parties are out of their minds on all sorts. Gang-rapeisn’t a lol for us to all play guess who over - if it is true (and again, I really don’t think it is) imagine reading that? It’s stupid, annoying, and trivialising something actual victims stand very little chance of ever receiving justice for.

Those blind sites are awful. I wish they were ignored.
To me it's wild that tattle gets lumped in with that. Tattle is overwhelmingly opinions about public figures. Unless no one reported it, there's never been anything even remotely as bad as the stuff blind sites post daily.
There's been 20+ million posts and loads of influencers or their fans signing up to post dreadful stuff to their own threads to try and discredit here. I think tattle gets such a bad rep because the comments cut deeply as they aren't made up extreme stuff. You don't have to look far to find far worse stuff on all the big user generated platforms.
The worst that's ever been posted here in 5+ years is probably two posts on the katie price thread that she should end her life. This was in the context of her drink driving crash that could have killed innocent people, but both were deleted within minutes of being reported.
