Lily Allen #3 Miss me? With Miquita Oliver

Yes that doesn't sound supportive at all, more that she thinks gregg is clearly a vile creep but he ain't the only one and all this furore about a single person detracts from the truth about the embedded culture there.

I hate how news outlets twist things but I guess it's standard.

Yes this, she's talking about how it would be better to focus on the industry as a whole rather than disingenuously using one person (no matter how vile) as some kind of scapegoat

I guess milk it while it's hot! Maybe they'll replicate that toxic vibe on stage.
Hope they film it. Tbh if it was in my town and I had a free evening and tickets were fiver or under I might go, just to see if the dynamic is as awkward as it sounds

bleeping hell 👀
Curiosity got the better of me, that’s an actual shock!

Well, I gave it all a proper listen on my delayed Eurostar helltrip the other day.

Every criticism here stands…. but I really liked it! My god, they’re privileged and annoying but there are some very funny moments in there.

Also found myself wishing that Lily actually sorts herself out. It’s clear she’s in the grip of an ED, with plenty issues that would derail most people’s “normal”. But I find her likeable and funny on this.

I hope they're open about how much they made from it all. I'd be really interested to hear the finances of it.
Google says Hackney Empire has a capacity of 1268 seated, tickets ranging from £32.50 to £80(!)

ChatGPT tells me that total revenue could range from £41,210 to £101,440 if sold out. After accounting for typical production costs (10-20%) and venue fees (20-30%), around 50-70% of the remaining revenue would likely go to the performers. This means each performer could earn between approximately £7,200 and £17,750, depending on ticket pricing, costs, and the split arrangement.

That’s per show, so not bad if it leads to a full live tour!

yeah that’s not how it works at all - the show will be organised and run by a promoter who gives the artist either a flat fee or a split. It costs a tit load of money to put on a live event

Presumably they'll do more dates as that one seemed to sell out quickly.

You could see Wicked in London at the same time for similar-ish price - a little bit cheaper for the cheapest tickets, and a bit more expensive for the most expensive seats. That production will be a bit more than two girls, two seats.

I'm sure a decade ago their live show would have been £10.00-£22.50.

She's breaking the rules, it needs to say AD and right at the start of the description. A gifted hidden at the end is expressly stated as breaching them and it's clearly an AD shes being paid for with that grid post rather than a gifted freebie with nothing expected in return.

Anyway what a stupid product, as if you're going to regularly inflate and deflate a helmet and carry around a chunky battery powered pump. And loads of people have redesigned the helmet to make collapsible ones.

She looks so…
Wistful
What can she be thinking about whilst cycling around her ends at night with her inexplicable inflatable helmet?
