This 100%. I’m enjoying the pod but I’m surprised at how Miquita is coming across. I’ve sort of warmed to Lily (though wouldn’t want her as a mate) and Miquita is the one who annoys me. It’s like she’s never grown up or matured. She’s still in a bubble and not on this planet. Chaotic is the word…like someone who is playing at being an adult. But she isn’t adulting. She is very teenager like. Is this the effect of leaving school at 15 and being thrust into the media / T4 / Popworld?
 
Minutia comes across as stuck in the past but I wonder if she’s just playing a more cautious game.
Lily has shared much more of her current life in the podcast whereas most of Miquita’s shares are firmly rooted in their youth.
Lily comes across as having much more life experience than Miquita but maybe Miquita is just being more canny?
Lily has little to hide really as she’s pretty candid most of the time.

Yes, that is no accident. No true friend would post a picture like that of their mate. You would have several attempts until you got a flattering shot with the right angle. That's just so shady.

Though I follow Miquita on IG and she looks frail / older than her years in a lot of her photos. She does look well at all, I hope she is okay.
 
Aww my heart broke for Miquita on the podcast today when she was saying how the media used to call her fat and dirty so eventually she just stopped caring for herself 😞 you could tell from the way she spoke about it how much it hurt her.

Lily talking about how people were so horrible that she finds it hard to see her own beauty but then 10 mins later saying ewww/eurghhh with disgust about Barry Keoghan looks. Like wtf girl. So mean! She could have easily just said “he’s not my type” and left it at that.

I've been watching the clips of the podcast miquita has been posting on her own Instagram and she looks the same as in the photo Lily posted so idk if Lily is being mean posting that photo, that's just how she looks now? And I actually don't think there's anything wrong with how she looks, a few people are saying she looks poorly etc but I actually thought she looks comfortable in herself and like she is embracing a more natural look, it's reminding me of being told I look sick or tired by men at work just because I'm not wearing mascara that day or something lol.

Totally agree. Problem with Lily is she’s clearly not a girls girl. I think she probably see’s other females as competition. It’s also probably why she’s always bragging about who she’s shagged as she’s addicted to that male validation. In her head if she said “yeah your ex was attractive” she’d somehow be saying Miquita was better than her. it seems like everything is a competition to her.

I flip between finding Miquita either annoying or sweet. I think I find her sucking up to Lily frustrating as if it was my mate I’d call them out on the podcast for being a witch. Everyone can be a dick but on the occasions I’ve been out of order to a friend they’ve called me out on it and vice versa. I just want her to stand up for herself and stop being so nice to Lily all the time.

I don’t think I can recall many times that Lily has hyped Miquita up on the podcast but Miquita is always fawning over Lily. It’s like she’s in awe of her.

Still a good podcast tho because the dynamic is fascinating and some of it is funny AF.
