100% agree, she’s very sneaky not flagging it. Makes my blood boil, we keep our kids in school and go on holiday in half term paying an absolute fortune. here this grifter just takes her child out at any opportunity. I hope she gets fined and the council is involved.

I saw this. What annoys me about this answer is she’s saying my child is more special than your child so I’m giving the school who are already under resourced the added issue of having to sort out extra work for my kid and then mark it and get her up to speed with the rest of the class. If I was the teacher I’d be like screw you, I don’t get to go on holidays in term time so why should I bed over backwards for your brat of a kid. Also this means that when she’s back they have to go at the slowest kids pace which means if there are constant abscenses then the kids all have to go back to the start again. Think about that if 3/4 kids are taking time off- this is why classes then suffer and can teach the whole curriculum- not the teachers problem. 10 days holiday is to allow for someone to take time off to go for a special holiday ie a wedding or travel for a funeral etc. you don’t get a quota every year and then HAVE to use it. If every kid did that then there would be pandemonium so I don’t really see how the school are cool with that?

I am not a teacher but if I was and some insta gun parent kept taking their kids out of school for freebie holidays constantly I would not be doing extra work for myself to make sure they didn’t fall behind!

Also we are parents- we know better but Kerri clearly doesn’t. She wants a best pal not a child. The thing is Ivy will never say no to a holiday or getting out of school and she will have had some great experiences in life but eventually when she’s struggling to keep up and has missed so much, she will look back and think wow my mum had no bleeping boundaries, she’s done me no favours in life. Can you imagine her trying to get a husband/boyfriend and thinking that’s she’s something special. What’s she going to do when she goes into high school and Kerri has a baby- she’s not gonna be happy when Kerri goes off on her jaunts without her!

Also read the room- I’m struggling to afford a week in Mallorca, there’s a cost of living crisis - how is anybody affording the Maldives? And then she has the cheek to moan it’s not as good as the Hilton? duck me!

I went to Ibiza for a week all-inclusive in Easter for about 400 each for my family. I think I'm going to unfollow her now.
The poor teachers and classmates will all suffer, as pointed out by catch-up in the class room. I genuinely don't know why shes gone away mid Jan, it really makes no sense.

I think she also said you can turn up and pay £200 to upgrade?
I think it’s defo PR because she’s doing the question box thing and normally when she goes on holiday she just has a holiday and doesn’t say much y’know? There will be something at the end saying about it being discounted or something for an honest review!
