I refuse to donate to people who don’t actually do Dry July and do the “golden ticket” Bs.
Because they aren’t actually doing anything if they are too selfish to give up alcohol for a month what’s the point of dry July?
I’d rather just donate to cancer council or another charity on my own
 
So surprising…another free hotel stay for Leigh Campbell. Is that 3 just in the month? And will anyone want to stay there now they thing it’s haunted??

I think Dry July is a fantastic concept, well done to her for raising $10,000 but I think she’s completely missed the point. What did she actually do? If you’re drinking every weekend because someone bought you a ‘ticket’ you’re really not doing Dry July. I thought that the tickets were there for a special occasion like a wedding or your birthday where you might like to have one drink. Years ago before it all went online the person participating in Dry July had to buy themselves a ticket. It should really be set up so you can only buy a limited number of tickets for someone.
It's like someone raising money doing a marathon run and they’ve caught an Uber for half of it.

She missed the whole point and I swear drank more in July than normal. Absolute insult to the charity.

Yes! Should totally be capped.

I had a look on the Dry July website, you can buy a golden ticket for $25 and that gives somebody a night off from doing Dry July not just one drink.

I had a quick scroll back through her donations page and she’s had at least 12 golden tickets purchased for her in the month. So she could be drinking every second day of the month. Hardly Dry July.
 
It costs thousands to stay in that homestead at Mona Farm for a weekend, here these immature dickheads are, running round the place, slapping each other in the face with food (was it?? I don’t know, had to skip past), spitting drink on the floor, broadcasting that the place is haunted, the gardens are creepy! How fabulous of them! What in the duck is the appeal of this lot?? I get the worst second hand embarrassment watching them, especially Leigh & Amy, can’t look! (but can’t stop looking).
