She honestly thinks she is an expert at everything. She literally was handed 'beauty expert' with zero background or skills/education.

Now!? It's literally whoever pays her.

It's interesting because she is so anti wellness too. Of course some wellness trends can be damaging and make false claims. Leigh can't profit off genetics, intergrated health and mere luck in some cases.

Yet she fully believes a potion in a bottle will transform skin?

It's clear she is supportive of skincare/cosmetics because thats where her $$ comes from. But genetics and nutrition? Nah, just buy some Estee Lauded ANR instead!

Doesn’t make sense anyway. I totally get it if people are sending them negative messages or commenting. But they have public accounts, so people can see everything on Insta viewers regardless of whether they’re blocked. Surely you just accept the silent hate followers and smile because they’re upping your engagement and making you money 🤷🏻‍♀️

She’s blinded by her own arrogance.

If she was the super smart business woman that she claims to be, then she’d focus on creating her uninspiring content and not care about who is following her.

But because she’s so self-absorbed and unable to accept feedback in any form, she joins the Outspoken group to check who’s talking about her, and actively searches out lists of people who don’t “conform” to what she wants from her “followers” and she blocks them. In doing so she has blocked genuine followers who believe her garbage.
My sister donated over $100 to her Dry July campaign and then she got blocked. My sis didn’t know she was blocked, she thought it was a tech issue so she messaged LC from her renovation Insta account (her family is renovating their eastern suburbs freestanding home - 😱). In her message she asked her a genuine question about skincare and LC blocked that account too.

Reading this made me so sad. You have made the right decision by unfollowing. No one should make you feel like that.

Genuine relationships and conversations are so important and they don’t need to have a price tag.

Your maturity and self-awareness is worth so much more than gifted crap and sponsored accommodation.

I agree - she’s absolutely trolling. She feels like she’s untouchable because she’s got away with the racism with no consequences which just shows you how powerful/crappy media organisations like Mamamia can be.

I think the comments about self awareness have hit the nail on the head. You can’t be lacking that much self awareness.

I very rarely post now, but did anyone send screenshots to daily mail or her employer?
Most large companies have a comprehensive code of conduct, which usually extend to social media and how they ‘promote’ themselves and the company. I would imagine when an employees role is based around social media and advertising a certain image, the company would want to ensure that image is maintained.

This isn’t even snarky, but how can a person who has made racist comments continue to work and be the image of a company without acknowledging the wrongs they’ve done? it’s disappointing to see these women continue to get views and endorsement deals, when after this whole saga, I don’t think they’re genuinely nice or pleasant people. How companies make their lives appear ‘inspirational’ and we as consumers are meant to aspire to be like them, but they can’t apologise or even acknowledge the comments. I don’t know, it’s just rather tainted and I’m meant to look at their lives and think they’re the bees knees. Nah mate, I’ll take my life any day of the week and be a nice human and apologise for any wrongs I’ve done in my life.
 
I used to really like Leigh. Yes her voice is v grating and her million miles an hour good morning in the car recaps can be dead boring where she is just constantly touching hair, smooth eyebrows whilst waffling can be very banal and entitled. But there has been a real shift in her this year. She is coming across as being quite angry? Not sure what about? But its sort of deep anger which is starting to spill out- in ways of being conceited, easily annoyed, insecure and a little bitter at her life. And I can say that I was not behaving like that at 40… very strange behaviour. I must say I also found Amy Gerard very immature so them together is fairly insufferable as they feed off each other with their mean girl vibes.
i also thought AOA was the odd one out- but birds of a feather- she has just been better at keeping her Insta page tidy!

Was about to ask the same 😂. Or a podcast? I’ve still been listening to YouBeauty, but I just can’t tolerate Leigh anymore.

I liked Leigh as well, but the really angry and aggressive under tones with everything she posts has really turned me.
