Whilst I think Maajid has gone completely bonkers I would love him to take JOB to court ....




What did JOB mean? 'Go and kill some more people.' Was he referring to his Covid conspiracy theories? Maajid being a Muslim

I only listened to Maajid a handful of times, but each time he kept banging on about once being a member of fundamental Islamist group (which led to his arrest in Egypt). It might be in reference to that. I quite enjoyed his shows ... to a point. He did seem quite an angry man, I can see how him and JOB could clash. Still, if it came to the crunch, I'd back Maajid all day long. :cool:

Maajid then co-founded Quillium which had an anti-fundamentalist agenda, he flip flopped all over the place with his views at times.

I didn't know he had 'weird' COVID views. Maybe that was what JOB meant, knowing him though he no doubt thought he was being clever. As an aside from all this childish behaviour though ... the ego's of these people, blows my mind. All they do is talk into a bleeping microphone for a few hours a day. It's ridiculous.

Maajid went full on conspiracy theorist with Covid and Trump and that was why LBC sacked him.

Bit of a shame as I quite liked him when he first joined LBC and at one time he seemed to be golden boy and covered for James many times.

I'm surprised at James though knowing how litigious Maajid is. Must have been the champagne talking.

I just saw a clip of JOB, must have been from this week, where he suggested the queue to see the Queen laying in state was a sinister plot to engender mass-grief. Seriously? That and the excessive drinking ... I'm starting to fear for his sanity. Plus he looked absolutely terrible, or at least very unhealthy.
He's certainly coming across as a bit 'weird' / 'obsessive' / 'creepy' /. Very unhappy man.

At least he hasn't suggested that they load the coffin back in the hearse and drive slowly up and down the line with it.

He is starting to give the impression that he's deeply troubled, but is it fair to allow him on air, where his behaviour might be seen as normal by some listeners. I think his boss should make him take some time off to sort himself out.

O'Brien cannot grasp that the death of Elizabeth II, the longest reigning monarch in British history is an actual defining moment in history, a world event.
I mean Switzerland even illuminated The Eiger in the union flag.

You don't even have to be totally pro monarchy to realize this, but to James it's just another excuse to chip away at something in order to appear edgy & to enable his fanbase of trolls.
 
On dear. GB News picked up the story of Jobbie's drunken rant. I don't see how LBC can let him back on air; at least, not until the fuss has been sorted or died down.

I'm sure they'll be weighing-up whether it'll get more listeners or less. That's the cynical business of commerical radio folks! Call in and buy more Billtong.
