James is struggling badly at the moment. The Queen was well regarded and popular which leaves him no room for his usual lines of attack.

Boris has gone taking a lot of James's output with him. Because of the situation government is in a sort of stasis so he cannot attack Liz Truss.

Where next after the British Guinea Pig Association?

It's so ironic that the very things he says he despises ... The Daily Mail, 'The Gammons', Farage, etc. are the very things he needs to function. The man has some real problems. Can't he see that he's just a privately educated version of Jeremy Kyle? It beggars belief.

Actually it is a substandard version of Jeremy Kyle as James was routed by the chavs of daytime ITV when he presented O'Brien. Whereas Jeremy was a success there for many years.

I managed fifteen minutes of Jobbie and switched off when he began ranting on about the unbearable racism Meghan has been subjected to by the media. What media? I've never heard or read any negative comments in the media about her heritage. There have always been individuals, even political parties, who express hatred for other races but I honestly believe they are in the minority in the UK. The only reason Meghan's mixed race has ever been a subject for discussion is because she constantly refers to it herself. She plays the race card to gain sympathy. The main reason she's disliked is because she's increasingly showing herself to be a cold, calculating, self-serving witch.

I have to listen to James OB every morning and I literally cannot stand the guy. He makes me so angry so I'm so glad this thread is here. I have never come across someone so rude and up their own arse. The way he was going on about Megan M this morning (I have no opinion on her) but I literally had to sit there and shout "she won't shag you James" I really do dislike him so much. It has to be his way or no way.

He'd be one of those people that would say 'I can't be friends with a Tory' (even though he is besties with William Cash and The Cash family).

I think that's one reason why I like the Nick Abbot and Carol McGiffin podcasts. They couldn't be any different politically but get on like a house on fire otherwise. They just don't discuss politics. Recently Nick was having a rant about Margaret Thatcher and Carol said 'I liked Margaret Thatcher' ... there was an immediate 'sausage and dingleberries' and they changed subjects. :LOL:

The left have taken a couple of headlines from DM etc and ran with them to prove their point of racism in British tabloid media towards her. Forget the media for a second, but focus on the general public.

The public had no ill will towards her before, when and a little while after she married Harry. It was only until they started to grumble about being in the RF and their grievances about what people did or said, which is when the public's attitudes towards her and him soured.

The likes of James, Shola etc are trying desperately to cling to some vague evidence of racism in Britain towards Meghan, when it just isn't true.

I don't much care for Piers, but his opinion on Meghan was just that - an opinion. Makes me laugh how you cannot criticise Meghan because she is mixed race.

Take solace in this: These people are paid money to gain listeners/viewers so media companies can make profits by selling advertising space. That's the be all and end all. I really wouldn't take any notice of what the likes of James O'Bile says ... ultimately him and his like are nothing more than a break between adverts. Don't let him wind you up, it's what narcs do ... one of the traits of a narcissist is: "To make other people act and behave in a manner in which they ordinarily wouldn't". Once you get to grips with that he can be quite entertaining in a pitiful kind of way.

O'Brien is morphing into an Alan Partridge type character with every passing week.

Meant to add that if anyone needs a laugh, do revisit yesterday's (Wed) Steve Allen show, between 4-5am, where he opens in a bizarre deep voice, "All systems are GO....All systems are GO"

Looking at the LBC schedule for the weekend - Jim Diamond (I should have known better !!!!), is covering 4 - 7am slot . At the other end of the day, 4 - 7pm slot is unknown (probably be Ben Kentish) on Saturday (Ben is doing in on Sunday). Monday's schedule is 'normal' which I can't believe, particularly Nick F being in - he is never in on Bank Holidays (I seem to remember he did it once). I suspect the schedule will change before Monday.

What with the crowds and transport restrictions, getting into and out of central London is going to be a problem for them.
