Has anyone been to Joe Allen's restaurant that Steve always speaks about? I saw it online and it's just some American diner. He makes it sound as if it's some amazing fine dining restaurant the way he goes on about the place

I've been a couple of times. I've been to the old one and the new one. The foods nothing special but it's full of theatre history. It's where a lot of the actors used to go after shows. Seeing as Steve lives on mash and bacon sandwiches he probably does think it's fine dining. 🤣

The old one was full of character. It looked like you were going into some backstreet speak easy. There was a massive red curtain and then you headed downstairs and it was quite dark but it atmospheric. They had to move locations a few years ago and whilst the new one is ok, it's a lot more generic in style.

It sounds as though he orders the same old burger joint food he eats at home but served on plates rather than throwaway containers! And costing about four times as much.

It hasn't taken long for Jobbie's republic sympathies to emerge. The royals are being spiteful to Harry by not letting him wear his uniform. Perhaps if Harry had told his wife to shut her trap and stop slagging off his family he might be allowed to dress up. I do agree that Andrew should also be banned from wearing uniform.

It tickled me the way the BBC were desperate to fill their programmes with anything relating to Scotland. I caught a glimpse of Huw Edwards solemnly interviewing Lulu on her impressions of HMQ.

They love it don't they. Saddo's. I mean, can't they just take one bleeping week off with their nagging? It's bleeping relentless. After this week they can go back to it for the rest of their lives if that's what makes them happy.

You might not have been a listener when Diana died but that was worse. It seemed to go on for weeks because it wasn't just a very old lady dying in bed. You couldn't switch on without hearing conspiracy theorists ranting on about how Di was murdered, why and who did it. They still pop up on Twitter.
