On what grounds?Unfortunately that appearance resulted in many Ofcom complaints, I doubt he will be invited back on.

Ah so you knew all along he was on it so your previous comment was simply some from of trolling come wind-up. How sad.Unfortunately that appearance resulted in many Ofcom complaints, I doubt he will be invited back on.
Yes, the last thing any TV show wants is a controversial guest saying controversial thingsUnfortunately that appearance resulted in many Ofcom complaints, I doubt he will be invited back on.

I lasted not long with nick abbot last night.
He was bemoaning that the UK government ignored Ukraine's request for arms for 7 years (then played the "no no no" clip). When the exact opposite happened. Google operation orbital Nicky A! He's got Trump or Putin levels of an alternative reality . Obviously in hindsight the UK could have done more but it's one of the very few countries that were helping since Russia last nabbed their land.
Then went back to praising France for limiting energy increases when it's really not that simple. It's odd he's determined to criticise the UK regardless of if it's warranted or not. At least he admitted he just turns up, no more pretending he's in there at noon to prep
Anybody have an idea of what kind of salaries the LBC presenters are on, especially Iain Dale and Steve Allen? I only really listen to those two. Or even the salaries for those who do one or two shows a week, such as Camilla Tominey. I'm just a bit nosey, so interested in these kind of things haha.
Not a clue. You can check what the politicians who guest present earn on the parliamentary register.
Interesting. He'll likely not make as much as the regular presenters though, will he? Simply because their contracts must be pretty good, especially Steve Allen's.
Yeah I just looked and David Lammy presented five shows in March (I think it was) last year. In that month he made £2,870. So going by that, Steve must be on at least £120k per year. Damn, that's a lot of money for just reading the stories on the paper and commenting on them.
I'm glad he got better, he really does need someone to sausage him during the live shows!I've just caught with Nick's Friday show. You should have stuck with it.
Thankfully he didn't stick with the subject of Ukraine (which he was wrong on obvs) and was soon back to nordicott's and that Steve Allen drives a car the size of an oligarch's yacht.
He said to one caller he was being more relaxed because when he covers for Tom he has to pay attention
Nick Abbot is getting as bad as James O'Brien. Even Bloomberg is being forced to admit how popular Boris Johnson is in Ukraine.I'm glad he got better, he really does need someone to sausage him during the live shows!
Last night a caller said the UK had been helping Ukraine since the Crimea invasion. He replied that it's news to him as he thought the UK had been ignoring requests for the last 7 years. How can he be so uninformed on such a big huge massive topic?! Especially as he was doing something like 12 shows in a row where this was the only topic!
There's literally clips on the news with zelenskyy thanking the UK for all its help over the years and nick just hears what he wants to and replys that the Ukrainian president is uninformed because the Tory party is working for the Kremlin
And when the shitshow happens you'll have a fabulous time with your hands on your hips saying "I told you so!" You & James will be in self righteous heaven.I agree we’ve been left with a shitshow but Brexit isn’t done, the collateral damage from it is only just beginning
We’ve been insulated from some of the damage so far but slowly the real damage is being uncovered.
For example, European truck drivers do not want to visit the UK due to the chaos at ports when heading back into Europe. They are actively avoiding crossing the channel so this will inevitably start affecting supply chains (food, medicine, goods) as European hauliers are already desperate for drivers.
Sure for some James O’Brien mentioning Brexit is becoming tiresome but like covid just because you don’t talk about it as much doesn’t mean it’s gone away.
The damage from Brexit is being blamed on other factors like P&O, covid, Ukraine etc - James O’Brien is one of the few who is willing to expose the truth and rightly will not let those responsible forget what they have done.
An interesting choice by Brian. Aren't radio stations supposed to be more balanced at election time? There is little sign of it here.Jobby playing Boris's rather ham-fisted interview with Susanna Reid. Pity he didn't balance it up by playing his rather stirring speech to the Ukrainian parliament. Lucky for Jobby that, unlike the BBC, who didn't like his biased interviews, commercial media doesn't have to be balanced.
Heard cabinet minister George useless Eustice on LBC News recommend people try supermarket value range foods, in order to combat the spiralling cost of living.
To say these clowns are out of touch would be an understatement.
Because of the election night coverage, Iain Dale is broadcasting between 10pm tonight until 6am tomorrow. Obviously it is not worth getting Steve in for one hour. So the good news we have an extra hour of Nick Ferrari tomorrow morning !
