I voted to Remain but I have long accepted that Brexit was democratically voted for. I look at it as there being 3 votes for it. The actual referendum. Theresa May was voted in on a Brexit manifesto and Boris got a whopping majority with the same thing.

I genuinely believe the likes of James will drive themselves potty at this rate.

Maybe it boils down to him not getting his way for probably one of the few times in his life. I'm grasping at straws because I don't really know. Either that or the topic of 'Brexit' is just a consistent ratings winner, I just can't believe that though. It may just be a case of needing content because he will not talk about The Royals, the roads or any of the common topics other stations run with, no politicians will go on his show ... so he's a bit cornered-in when it comes to subject-matter. :unsure:
 
If Brexit were to be reversed he'd be absolutely lost imo. Channelling himself as the Great Anti Brexiter of the Airwaves and the Only Presenter Who Predicted The UK's Dire Future Outside The EU has been the making of him. What would be left if he couldn't rage at the Brexit machine anymore?

Honestly, Tom has to be in my top ten presenters in broadcast media who have absolutely nothing in common with their average listener. That's no sin of course ... his biggest sin is that he loves playing golf. No coming back from that in my book (unless it's the kind of golf with minuture windmills etc). 😬
 
Well his job must involve tilting at windmills all the time, whether on or off the (miniature) golf course.

I'll admit I quite like him and the way he presents but I know nowt about these things.
 
He can't be used to failing at anything. Bet he can't wait for 5th July and an end to all this pre-prepared nonsense speak.

That's not really a surprise though is it. He's not a politician, he's a massive banker. 😬 I think I was a bit unkind ot Tom (Swarbrick) earlier because our Prime Minister has almost nothing in common with 99 percent of the electorate. Bless him.
