I heard quite a good term on a US Media podcast ... "The Pundit Industrial Complex". There is a career to be had in being a gobshite, of course you have to leave any morality and ethics at the door.

Who does he influence ? Is there anyone whose views he's actually changed ? Sure there's a few stooges put through who claim to have 'seen the light', but you're not going to influence people who disagree with you by calling them racists, thick and liars are you ?

The Press Gazette has some very curious numbers. If Jimbo is number 1 with 1.9 million followers on social media why is Joe Rogan number 3 when he has 15 million social media followers or more than seven times Jimbo's?According to the Press Gazzette I'm the most influential journalist in the UK. Plus there is another issue as Nigel Farage is at number 9 with 3 million.
So if the numbers are done properly Nigel Farage has bested him one more time.
I was looking at the election night coverage and Shelagh is involved as usual and Nick Ferrari is starting at 5am and having his show extended to 5 hours.
But unless there is a need for a fluffer for Sadiq Khan Jimbo looks set to be ignored..

Jobby is extraordinary. The previous hour's Q&A with Starmer covered all the main points of the partys' manifestos but the only one he wants to talk about is Brexit. It's probably the only one he heard. The rest was just waffle to him.

Are his listeners REALLY interested in this? I know I'm not. The VERY earliest any form of a reverse-ferret on Brexit would be in a Labour second-term, that's about 5 years off. And that's an optimistic prediction, assuming Europe doesn't descend into war and our economy is in better shape. Honestly, it's really bizarre.
ps. As an aside, I listen to TalkSport and a lot of the presenters are in Germany for the Euro's ... they are really surprised at how bad the German trains and trams are. I know that doesn't help us ... but at least it's not just an English thing!

Meanwhile back in the real world people get on with their lives. I voted for Brexit and would do so again but I also realise that many who voted for Remain thought they were doing the right thing. Or if you prefer there were a range of things to decide and I decided one column was larger whereas others decided otherwise.
Jimbo just sees black and white and I am a thicko and worse....

I voted Brexit and I'd vote again. Not for one second did I think that 8 years later it would be consuming and eating away at the brain and soul of those who voted Remain. It's absolutely glorious.
