O'brien started the hour at 11am proclaiming he wasn't interested in Lee Anderson and has now been talking about him for over 10 minutes.
😂
---
You can now actually listen to James reading a "bonus chapter" from his latest blockbuster.
---
Scottish caller on sounds like he's about to explode, proclaiming UK armaggedon & his own hypertension diagnosis.
It seems you are not the only one to spot this.

Thought Colin was having fun working in Thailand ?

In a country where the likes of the Daily Mail, Express, Telegraph and Sun front pages feed the right wing red meat daily, think god for James O’Brien. Yes, he is often over the top, but given the lack of balance in our media, at least we have a few loan voices speaking out to try and redress the balance.
Today is a perfect example. If a Labour doner had come out and said similar things about a Jewish person than the Tory donor has about Diane Abbott it would be all over the mainstream media. Instead, we have a few Tory bigwigs telling us that Hester is not racist because he had been on holiday to the West Indies and there is nothing to see here. Will it appear on the front pages of those papers? Of course not.
The likes of O’Brien, Lineker and Volderman may not always be right, but I can usually guarantee that if they are talking about something and it is rattling the cages of the gammons, they are worth listening to.

Yeah, I tend to agree. The cynic in me of course also thinks he sometimes aligns himself with certain people or views (or non-views such as the trans issue) to add some cover to his own shortcomings over the way he treats people. I don't find him very genuine, but he's a broadcaster on a commercial media outlet so that goes with the territory. I certainly prefer him to people like Owen Jones or Ash Sarkar ... a bit of a back-handed compliment I know! :ROFLMAO: I do enjoy a good-old-fashioned Tory-donor/MP bashing once in a while ... I wonder if old Sunak will issue a statement on the steps of Downing St. again?!?

I was looking for something else entirely but saw this (see below). This woman, Dr. Pippa Malmgren is an American Economist who served as Special Assistant to the President of the US for Economic Policy. I always enjoy listening to her when she pops-up in the media, even though most of what she says goes over my head. Now I know why I like her so much, she's clearly got the measure of old O'Brien!
