He said he had a lot going on with his mum and he literally just forgot. He said he was sent a message at 9pm but he goes to sleep at 6pm so didn't get it. I hope he buys Clive a drink!!

Jimbo's support for Harry (and his wife) has always been the big reveal to me, proving that James is just a wind-up merchant. In almost everything else he rails against 'doffing-hats' and 'tugging-forlocks' to the ebstablishment ... except for Harry. It makes absolutely no sense. I hope James gets a New Years Honour while a Tory government is still in power ... there's no doubt in my mind he would except it, but it would be amusing to see how he justifies bowing-and-scraping to William or Charles when he receives it.
