I remember Sir Keir being heavily criticised for giving an interview to The Sun ages ago. It just makes sense to me. What's the point of giving interviews with The Daily Mirror or Guardian? They're already on your side. If you want to speak to a wider audience how else are you going to do it.

I had high(ish) hopes this morning. A good old fashioned Boris-bashing session. Lovely. Then Brexit was mentioned. Then his book launch was mentioned. Then I turned-off. I don't know what James wants me to do regarding Boris, write to my MP? Assassinate him? The COVID enquiry is newsworthy, but raking-up all of the grievences again isn't healthy for anyone. You'd think someone who goes on about therapy all the time would call for people to 'move on'. Not forget, but 'move on' and not let it define your future life. duck SAKE.

When is he going to move on from the very small pond that is LBC? It’s been twenty years FFS. What more can he possibly have to say that hasn’t been repeated ad nauseum. We know what his opinion is and will be on absolutely e v e r y thing. Zero surprises, Groundhog Day. He needs a shake up because this obsessive focus on the same three topics can’t be healthy for him. And I could say exactly the same about the godawful Nick Abbott.

Read that she didn't collect her award in person due to threats she's meant to have received, the same reason she didn't present her show on LBC at the weekend. Surprised this hasn't gained more traction media wise, they'd usually lap this type of thing up.

I suspect that most tit stirring provocateurs in the media receive some nasty blow black, not right but it goes with the territory today unfortunately. Unless her threat was particularly egregious (c. James O'Brien), I suspect she's a bit thin skinned and not really cut out for the profile she's been pursuing.
