She was never happy, was she? She saw her kids as her job, something she could also excel in, but like in many careers, she soon out grew her role and needed a promotion...The compulsive search for the best pram, the self deprecating humble bragging..she always came across to me as a bit empty inside, always chasing the next perfect buggy, t'shirt, baby, capsule wardrobe, life..
 
My goodness this is all so enlightening!!! I feel like a mug for falling for her ‘normal’ approach and content. I hate when this happens.. I really question myself for being drawn in!! 🫣

Both of us used to work together in a parallel industry to her and I don’t want to out her. My friend has maintained a connection because I think it’s been good for her business as we all ended up living nearby, but has no real affection for her. She can be very cruel and dismissive. Every conversation somehow ends up with her dominating, I’ve actually seen her get annoyed with someone who didn’t know who she was 🙄 she’s totally bitchy about other people on Instagram (funnily, some of whom are now signed to LOT). I’ve spent quite a long time with her socially but can’t warm to her. She’s just fake.

oh god I remember the pram bollocks. Endless searching for the pram. First it was the all singing all dancing travel system, which was too big and heavy. So she got something equally expensive but smaller and less cumbersome. Then she moved so needed something to fit in the car boot. Then she got pregnant so the search was on for the double buggy. Which was massive and wouldn’t fit through doors, so it was something else. I’m sure there was a bugaboo at one point as well. Then I lost interest or damsels imploded, cos I can’t remember how she managed the third child.
 
Every " influencer" is all about money. They'd all sell their souls for cash. Even the decent ones!

Pascale is only 40? Bloody hell.

So the other Blonde Plastics are in pretty, linen, summery outfits and our Kat is in a horrid knitted tube and a greasy winter hat. Can she really not see how awful she looks? If she sorted the hair once and for all I'm assuming the hats could go!

If I understand correctly you're saying you feel like a mug for falling for Erica's normal approach? I think that quote about the pram was in relation to Kat, not Erica!

Lots of people on Damsels would have met in real life and be friends on Facebook, Instagram etc.....I'm 99% sure Erica wasn't on Damsels.

I wouldn't say that's strictly true! You do seem to have a deep seated hatred for Kat based on your number of posts on this thread. I agree she is incredibly annoying with many faults, but there were just as many other people on Damsels with the same traits as her and she was (rightly or wrongly) popular.
