Guysss we’re going to hear about America now again for the 100th time because she’s a world traveler blah blah. Also Karla it’s called youth hockey not juniors in America. I thought you would have know that since you’re such an expert.

Btw I’m American so don’t hate me lol. Why the heck is she planning to go to Atlanta. Imagine flying across the ocean to go there.
 
My complaint is about Jen, sorry if that's derailing. It really got on my nerves when she said she thinks there's something creepy about Brendan O'connor. I'm neither here nor there on him but she has a massive mouth for a girl who's trying to make herself happen on the comedy scene. As she said herself Ireland is a very small place and I don't think it's wise for someone with a platform of her size to be slagging someone off on her podcast for no apparent reason. It's one thing passing comment Hollywood celebs from your crappy Irish podcast, but Jen you can hardly moan when RTE and Virgin Media overlook you. You're a liability shooting your mouth off as if your myopic opinions are facts.
 
Brendan also has a very successful radio show on RTE radio 1. Far from ran off the air he was 🙄 both herself and Karla don’t half come out with some uneducated clangers that have absolutely zero basis or grounding in reality. They are both so thick. Do they even own a television or listen to the news? They don’t seem to have one iota of what’s going on in the world around them even on their own soil

Absolutely! They don’t seem to research anything!!! It pisses me off so much!

Jen in particular seems to lead a very insular life. She doesn't appear to be exposed to other ethnicities and when she comments on other cultures traditions or religious beliefs it comes over as ignorant. I personally don't think she will ever be famous. She's a nice enough girl, but I don't find her funny at all. If she ever became famous she would probably say something to get herself cancelled. She seems oblivious to her lack of world view.

Never mind other religions or cultures - she comes out with some clangers about what happens “down the country” 🙄🙄
 
I think she knows herself she’ll never be famous. She has missed any opportunity she ever had to be on stage and above anything else, she’s just not funny. Like for a supposed comedian she has never once made me laugh even a little bit. I feel like she was told once years ago oh you’re gas you should do comedy and she has clung to it, but she so often misses the mark and her attempts at humour are beyond cringeworthy. Not to mention she’s just not clever and I really do think being somewhat smart lends itself to having a humorous personality. You need to know what to say, how to say it and more importantly what not to say and she just does not have that skill

She won’t get her big break because she’s just not good enough. There’s way better actresses out there with a more flexible schedule. Having Bobby made things a little harder because she wont wasn’t to stay away for weeks at a time
 
I only listened to about twenty mins of this week’s podcast because parenting pods just aren’t my jam but from the outset Jen seems more relaxed with someone who isn’t Karla. I genuinely think she should reconsider doing this podcast like you just know she has no time for Karla beyond doing the pod. She also took a few swipes at her the start lol

Had to unfollow Ali in the last few months, thirsty doesn't cover it; thinking she's a gas ma with her manky head & the house upside down, but she's had more time away in the last 6 months than I've had in 15yrs

I think she’s just thick. I know that sounds mean but it’s true. She’s uneducated and thick. Fine maybe she made a few funnies over the years but nothing to write home about. Her accent really irritates me as well as it seems far more put on at times. Her knowledge about anything at all is basic level not even Google level at times as she can’t even pronounce peoples names etc correctly. Nobody is perfect and that’s fine but maybe research and try to learn and finesse something if you’re going to be putting it out there in the public domain. Sorry she hasn’t got the personality or brains to be famous or even likeable and most people I know who would’ve even heard of her have similar opinions that she’s just a bit of a dope.

The faces she makes when she's doing those ridiculous monologues. She has one speed "chavy character who'd streel out of ya" I find them an odd pairing for the podcast. Karla is an arrogant brat who thinks she's a cut above everyone else and Jen is happy to stay in her little bubble of ignorance
