Karla keeps going on about “me and Fionnuala this me and Fionnuala that”. She would drop Jen like a hot tit if Fionnuala wanted to start a pod. She is just one of those friends who you can never do enough for, they always make you feel like tit. I get the impression that Karla’s attitude feeds a lot into the way Jen views herself. Like if she gets a laugh out of Karla she literally won’t let it go and makes the same joke one hundred times. I think Karla has one of those presences where her mood dictates everyone else’s mood. I bet she’s hard work to be around

100% - She would have no loyalty towards Jen if the opportunity came up.

Also - the CONSTANT talking about 'RAY,' ughhh, its not half as gas as she thinks it is.
 
Yes that moment after Jen’s mention of Bobby was awkward. Karla is forever bringing up her dad & Jen always placates her with an ‘aah he’s so cute, I love Ray’ etc. Would it have killed Karla to say something similar this once? I know it’s a little thing but I think it sums her up to a tee. God forbid she veers from her ‘I hate kids’ narrative too 🙄
They have no rapport at all as hosts/ friends. I wonder how they came across on stage together at their live shows?!
 
There was a moment at the start when Karla was doing the same non reaction when Jen was talking about the last time she did a live show with God a Laugh and when she said it was Vacar Street Karla was like "ugh!" and only when Jen started putting herself down saying she was just a side character, Karla perked up.

I picked up on this too - she can't just be happy for Jen. She comes across as such a mean girl.
 
I know the exact type of people you mean. Ive had ‘friends’ like Karla before, they absolutely drain your energy and self confidence. Everything you do they snigger and put you down. Are always a step above. Its as if they control the standard and you will always fall that bit below. They keep you around because it makes them feel better that they can put you down at any moment to boost their own confidence & make them look cool in front of the crowd. Such juvenile behaviour, but some people just dont grow out of that.

i remember one friend, any time a fella would show interest in me on a night out, she would swoop in and subtly put me down and take over the conversation completely. I would end up walking away. Karla gives me those vibes
 
God this makeup look does nothing for her…

Sorry but can we talk about Jen pronouncing Dana “Dane-a” on the pod. Wtf? How has she lived in Ireland all her life and not know how to pronounce Dana? Also Karla not knowing who Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh is 🤚🏼

She is the worst. She has been to a few countries and bangs on about it like she Christopher Columbus.. and living away .. the Irish have been doing that since the famine hun.. always has to drop the institute too .. a fairly cheap school in comparison to others. I like her reviews but she is a melt. You work for Dyson not the royal family.. and nothing wrong with that but she acts like she owns it
