But why would Rebecca carry on like that, posting happy family videos and photos of his near naked daughter for all to see? Absolutely disgusting and he knew full well what sort of person would be looking at them. Men like him.

God knows why she stayed with him - I assume he’s a top level manipulator, given his crimes, so although Rebecca seems like a strong lady maybe he’s brainwashed her into thinking he’s innocent and this is all a hate campaign against him? That’s the only thing I can think of, as to why she hasn’t run for the hills already.

I can totally see this. Even from a distance it’s clear that the Ravey/Joem/Wrens didn’t have an amicable divorce and I think it’s very likely Rebecca played a part in end of their marriage. It’s not hard to imagine Luke making Kaddiiieee out to be the ultimate vindictive scorned ex-wife, out to get the pair of them and ruin their picture perfect lives.

The bit I’m struggling a bit more with is the very public egg journey, especially as it’s so recent. Rebecca must have know there were other allegations out there so surely doubts must have been growing in her mind. Why would you so publicly document plans to have your own children with him while this was all still going on?

Kadie must have known, and maybe that's why she came to the UK with Lake, but had to go back to give him access to her.

I think she just wanted to freeze her eggs knowing she wasn't going to have babies with Luke.

That’s actually a really good point. I also thought it was random to be freezing her eggs when she’s in her 30s and financially stable, so she could just have a baby right now rather than waiting. But that makes a lot of sense, if she deep-down realises that she won’t have a future with Luke.
It’s also struck me as quite sad that Rebecca’s parents had really seemed to bond with Lake, and had even decorated a room at their house in England for when Lake visits. I remember it being shown when Luke & Rebecca visited the UK last year. Now they’ll have no access to her ever again presumably. It’s so sad for everyone caught up in the crossfire of his actions.
 
Now I’m not a supporter of Kaddiee at all. I’ve always believed she’s got what’s coming to her for all the lies she told, lives she ruined, people she made feel like tit, everyone she stepped on. But I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

I think she did know, but I think if the allegations are made in Jan that’s when she found out, and she then asked for supervised visits with him. Totally agree. She didn’t have enough evidence and she needed support - now don’t get me wrong she can’t spell for tit and she is an incompetent mathematician, but she is smart, and Wiley. She would have done what she could in that situation.

Remember you can’t just shout n and expect the custody agreement to stop- you need evidence or testimony. She would have got the supervised visits, then started to get formal allegations together.

Now this is 2 victims under 12 which tells me it’s bad news for him. The article said the kids at the time were ages 6-10, lake is younger so I can’t see it being her. It’s possible it’s kids from the church that he attended in MIN or kids that he knows from family. The charges don’t state sex battery of a family member but then again they may not place that in the charge.

Normally after charges are filed the defendant can’t have any contact with ANY minors until after a resolution or if you go to prison that’s not happening at all.

I think (and again just my thoughts and knowledge of the legal system) that Rebecca just thought it was flinging around mud as part of the divorce, Katie took lake to the U.K. - Luke threatened charges to her if she didn’t come back - she did, and held her ground and bidded her time.
L&R were all lovey at xmas and new year so tells me she wasn’t overly concerned about the allegations then.

Now either one of 2 things are happening here and it’s fight or flight instinct

1) Rebecca doesn’t believe the allegation and standing by Luke because either it’s all made up bogus bullshit by Kaddie (she could be genuinely out to get him we don’t know)

2) rebecca does believe and her fight instinct kicked in, the only way she could keep that kid safe is to be around ALL THE TIME and make sure when she turned up, Rebecca was there. Maternal instinct is strong even if it’s not your kid, and as a woman I would protect her too.

The egg freezing is odd but I appreciate she may want a child someday and you need a partner if you freeze eggs otherwise it’s expensive to do it alone- so maybe she used him for that. Knowing she won’t use his sperm and will just use her eggs and find someone else.

Or the other reality is that this is all bogus and made up. We don’t know, and if it is i think that’s just as bad.

Remember in the US charges are slightly different but their legal system was modelled on British common law - so they would have needed probable cause to arrest him or he was a risk to the public.
 
I don’t think the abuse with Lake started until Kadee came back from the UK and that is when it all blew up in Jan 2023. I think it’s clear based on the affidavit who the victims are. Grooming is a several years long process so I think the age range given in the affidavit is not exact by year and it may refer to when it started with first victim and second victim is about that same age within a year at least. It’s possible a case was being built against Luke when other victim came forward to MN police where crime occurred and also WI. Luke had all his daughters together in family pic last Christmas with all parents. Since the other victim is now an adult and the grooming techniques were the same between the 2 girls there is a lot of evidence and testimony and once there was enough to charge him it makes sense charging him first in Sarasota would get him away from his child/victim. It’s possible they didn’t see this coming until he was arrested Aug 23. I see more charges filed in MN/WI in his future and those will lock him away for a long time.

Not sure but maybe it’s the reason Rebecca didn’t share Luke’s genetic results when she said they were expected have them any day end of July.
