New to this thread - I normally avoid all things joe wicks because he irritates me beyond belief but I thought I’d have a check in here and on his instagram - confirmed he hasn’t got any less annoying!

I’m sure it may have been remarked upon in other threads, but I’ve just spotted that he does his home workouts on a carpet or rug. Isn’t that Absolutely grim?

we do HIIT workouts at home and have to use exercise mats (on laminate floor) because by the end we’re absolutely dripping with sweat. Surely his carpets must be completely rank?!

Why would he shame his daughter like this

Have to say I'm almost disappointed that because of the PE thing there's less time for him to do the smug self righteous posts about mental health and relationship advice that were entertaining us so much a few weeks ago 🤣

Still, at least we are spared the lunacy of his 'weaning advice' for the time being. Which essentially involves starving your toddler all day so that by 8pm she is so hungry she will eat the Kale and quinoa mush. I actually think it is really obvious which times Rosie is posting on the wean in 15 account. She is way more normal than Joe.

We did the PE with our kids for the first few days, but it ismt PE it's a workout and its exhausting. Kids dont want that, they want games and to have fun not to work on their abs.

Its low key funny to me that the first week he was like oh we are so close to hitting a million streams guys maybe tomorrow! And now it's down around the 300k mark.

You did well, we only did it once and thought it was too intense for children, I’ve been watching his viewer numbers drop with glee ever since 🤣

Been a lurker for a long time but feel I need to post.
Q&A session about weaning, saying they did a mix of BLW and puree but started with just very soft or puree veg...surely that's traditional weaning? Nothing wrong with that at all, but baby led weaning is about more than just finger foods, my impression was family foods, whatever we ate but being mindful of choking hazards, salt and no honey?
I feel like his and his collaborator's advice really contradicts the NHS and health visitors advice, seems a bit dangerous, and saying that you can give family foods as long as cooked really really soft, again I'm sure this is not the official UK NHs advice? Happy to be proven wrong though!

Why is he giving such crap weaning advice on his Stories? Only start with very soft finger food if your baby has no teeth? Has he never felt a baby’s gums?!

I agree with you.

You can’t make a book out of actual BLW, though, can you?

I mentioned this the other day and have just seen his Q&A. I can't believe he has a weaning account and has written a book but doesn't understand what traditional weaning is and baby-led weaning is. Plus he's got a section in his new book about baby-led weaning, I can't help but think his book is going to be factually incorrect...and make money out of it.

All these first time parents following him being given incorrect advice. It's also annoying that on his weaning account he shows Indie eating unchopped blueberries, popcorn and mini eggs which are all big choking hazards. It also says not to feed to under 5s on the mini egg packets.

You’re absolutely correct, sure he just wants to appeal to the masses with his book 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nothing winds me up more than people who say “we did a bit of BLW and traditional” no. No you did not. You did TRADITIONAL and that’s OK!
I on the other hand did BLW. I have never fed my daughter with a spoon or mashed up puréed etc her food I literally went in with the whole stuff in a proper BLW way she used her hands and it was messy AF but she loved it. I introduced cutlery very young and she is 3 now and uses a spoon and fork and is a very neat eater. He needs to knows the difference. Even at 20 months old he is still mushing most of her food to a pulp!

My child had meat at 6 months. Those gums are hard 🤣
