She looked so healthy that season and has never looked the same since she's been with Joe.

I really think that being with a skinny controlling man boy with food issues who exists to rip the piss out of her is very bad for her ED.

Yes when he posted on IG that 'I've won something better than the glitter ball' I completely disbelieved they were together or that Dianne would look at him twice. It seemed baffling she would be with such a juvenile boy.

It's still baffling. His fusspot ways about food would drive me mad. And the way he drones on endlessly about the same thing.
It may be hard for Dianne when her parents go home and the buzz around winning Strictly dies down. She'll be left with prissy Joe laughing at her.

I must admit that I've gone down the rabbit hole (aka black hole lol) of watching a few of Joe's vlogs. On one hand or on one level he seems to be quite happy for Dianne's family to be there - there doesn't seem to be an underlying tone of 'in laws are here and it's hideous', but on the other hand he is so immature that he thinks that it's okay to mock them. Clearly he struggles with normal adult relationships and interactions and I guess it's his coping mechanism, but it's still disrespectful and unacceptable.

He HATES when she moves things or changes anything in the house, he was totally freaking out about her moving the reindeer from the tree… the awkward “oh, this is cool” when he sees the other one at the front door after asking her where it went. Total control freak. And when Rina says she wants Pasta on Christmas Eve which is what her family has.

Came on to say same. That was awkward and uncomfortable to watch regarding moved reindeer and surely all can eat what they want. Do we know if it's shared ownership of house between joe or Diane or if just Joe's, he clearly gives vibes its his and Diane has no say. He may earn more than her but they live together surely they live as one and share everything.

Dianne doesn't get to do anything without some snide or passive aggressive observation from him, does she? Her family's traditions are not important because they're not his or what he wants. That bit about being 'in England now' was so dismissive and patronising.

And put on the bloody pyjamas that your girlfriend bought for the whole family. Having them all here together is a very big deal for her so let her have her dream Christmas. What a massive hole he is.

I’d say to him, just go to Zoe and Alfie’s and I’ll having my own Christmas with my family at the house. He really thinks highly of himself and because of that he drains the joy in everything because no one comes close to the incredible Joe Sugg. I actually feel sorry for her and her family.

Like he sneaks off to spend time with his family leaving hers, it’s super odd.

The “in England now” and what he said a few weeks ago about the kids having to wait until Christmas Day for Santa to come cause it’s his way or no way pissed me off. Especially since he made her mum make him yorkshires and do things his way the times he’s been there for christmas. It’s Dianne’s family that she never gets to see, she has to play along with everything his family wants at every other time of year so why can’t he do that just once for her.

And the pyjamas thing made me so angry. You could see how excited she was weeks ago when they arrived and how excited she’s been about her whole family coming over for christmas. For him to then go on a neurotic rant about how horrendously awful it’d be to wear the pyjamas when she asked him to just do it for her was absolutely disgusting. It’s something so small and trivial in the grand scheme of things but it’s the tiniest little thing he could do cause to her it obviously means a lot and he won’t even do it for her.

ETA: Also him being rude to Dianne about her “panicking” cause he hadn’t done the christmas food shop when he has absolutely nothing else going on. When you just know if it was the other way around he would be so horrible to her and belittling her over it, yet he’s still managing to be condescending to her when its him thats caused it all.

Is there a way to know if Dianne owns part of the house too? Definitely getting the impression that only Joe owns it. Was he as controlling in the last house? I feel like he was not that bad back then... Now in the current house it seems like Dianne only has one room where she can do what she wants in and the rest of the house is all controlled by Joe.
